Life is a journey through a landscape of ever-expanding knowledge, and discernment is the compass that guides us through its uncharted terrain. It is a paradoxical truth that those who believe they possess the greatest discernment are often the ones who have yet to grasp the vastness of what they don't know.

In the realm of wisdom, humility is the fertile soil from which discernment grows. It is the acknowledgment of our limitations and the admission that, in the grand tapestry of existence, our understanding is but a single thread. When we embrace our own ignorance as a starting point, we open ourselves to the wonders of continuous learning and self-improvement.

True discernment is not a static state of knowing, but a dynamic process of questioning, exploring, and evolving. It is the willingness to admit when we are wrong, to reevaluate our beliefs, and to seek out new perspectives. It thrives on curiosity, empathy, and the recognition that every individual we encounter possesses a unique lens through which they view the world.

In a world awash with information and opinions, the discerning soul becomes a filter, sifting through the noise to find the nuggets of truth and insight. This filtering process is not a solitary endeavor but a collective one, where diverse voices and ideas enrich our understanding and refine our discernment.

As we navigate the complex terrain of existence, let us remember that the pursuit of discernment is a journey without a final destination. It is a journey where the only certainty is our own ignorance, and the path forward is illuminated by the twin lanterns of humility and curiosity. So, let us embrace the ever-unfolding mystery of life, for in that journey lies the essence of true discernment

WARN Your Family and Children | We Are Facing An Increase In Evil Spiritual Activity

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

"Jesus, I come before You with reverence and trust, knowing You are my rock.

I place the helmet of Your salvation on my head, protecting my thoughts. I wear the breastplate of Your righteousness to shield my heart. I tighten the belt of truth, walking in Your unwavering light. I step into the shoes of peace, sharing Your tranquility.

With unshakeable faith, I raise the mighty shield, believing in Your defense. I grasp Your Word, the sword of the Spirit, sharper than any blade.

In every aspect of life, I stand firm with You, Jesus, against the forces of darkness. In Your powerful name, I pray, Amen."

The amygdala is a brain structure that processes aspects of anxiety and fear. It's useful for us because without it, we may not react to danger appropriately. But what happens when the amygdala is overactive or improperly tuned with what is dangerous or not? This video demonstrates how our brain takes in information, which is then filtered through the amygdala. Our amygdala now has an opportunity to twist a situation that may not otherwise be dangerous.

Our brains have a negativity bias such that we perceive danger more strongly than we do non-danger. This is because potential danger could mean death while a positive or neutral situation is less important for survival. In the modern day, these physically dangerous situations are less common, though our amygdala's are still active and often perceive non-dangerous situations as dangerous, causing us unnecessary stress.

Being aware of this fact is step one in training your mind to appropriately judge our environments. 🧠

A limiting belief is a state of mind or belief about yourself that restricts you in some way. Everyone experiences limiting beliefs, but learning how to identify them can help you proactively prevent these beliefs from limiting you (Asana).

The reality is that a lot of our beliefs about ourselves limit us. This is because our brains have a negativity bias, and tend to think in ways that make it cautious and fearful. This leads to limiting beliefs. It's important to understand that evolutionarily speaking, the brain was designed to keep us safe. That is why it thinks this way, not because we are programmed to be negative for an arbitrary reason.

However, in modern society, we are not (usually) being chased by apex predators in the wild anymore. Though the same mechanisms that operated back then to protect us from danger are still operational today, but with the actual danger removed.

We need to recognize this so that when we feel like we can't do something or feel like we are unable to accomplish more, we can evaluate whether that thought or idea is fear and anxiety based or realistic.

Most of the time we can accomplish much more than we think we can and we should always strive to push our boundaries and comfort levels.

Turn that negativity bias off. Be uncomfortable. Go beyond limiting beliefs.
Extending compassion to all parts, including hostile parts, in situations of structural dislocation can be a challenging but transformative process. Here are some steps you can take to cultivate compassion in such circumstances:
* Recognize the interconnectedness: Understand that all parts, including the hostile ones, are interconnected and influenced by the larger structural dissociation. Acknowledge that these parts are not isolated entities but products of various factors, such as personal experiences, social conditioning, and systemic injustices.
* Practice empathy: Empathy involves putting yourself in the shoes of others and trying to understand their experiences and perspectives. Make an effort to empathize with the hostile parts, even if their actions or beliefs are difficult to accept. Try to understand the underlying pain, fear, or frustration that might be driving their hostility.
* Cultivate self-compassion: Before extending compassion to others, it’s important to develop self-compassion. Recognize that you, too, are affected by the structural dislocation and the emotions it evokes. Be kind and understanding toward yourself, acknowledging that navigating complex situations can be challenging.
* Engage in respectful dialogue: When engaging with hostile parts, maintain a respectful and non-confrontational approach. Focus on understanding their concerns and sharing your perspectives without attacking or belittling their beliefs. This approach can create an environment conducive to meaningful exchange and learning.
* Encourage self-reflection: Encourage all parts, including the hostile ones, to engage in self-reflection and critical thinking. Help individuals explore the underlying assumptions, biases, or misinformation that might contribute to their hostility. This process can foster personal growth and open the door to transformative change.
Know that help is available from therapists trained in dissociation. You are not alone. ❤️🙏
