How to register online?
MDIS Tashkent accepts applications online. After the deadline of admission, no other applications and documents will be accepted.
(Applicants who wish to register online in the MDIS Tashkent campus may visit the institute starting from June 1, 2019.)
Applicants must fill in the electronic application in the English language at www.mdis.uz to register online which consists of:
1. Terms of agreement: Applicant must read and acknowledge the MDIS Tashkent Admission Committee rules and regulations before applying to the program.
2. Personal Information: Applicant must fill in the electronic application on his/her information and must upload required documents.
a) Name, Surname and Given Name;
b) Birth Day/Month/Year;
c) Passport details;
d) Permanent address;
e) Valid e-mail address;
f) Valid contact number (cell phone and home phone);
g) Passport (including permanent registration page of the passport) in
PDF format;
h) Photo (3.5X4.5 sized) in JPEG format.
3. Parents’ information: Applicant must fill in all required fields with the information of his/her parents and one contact person in emergency:
a) Full name of parents;
b) Permanent address;
c) Valid contact number (cell phone and home phone);
d) E-mail address (if available);
c) Emergency contact.
4. Education background: Applicant must fill in the electronic application about his/her education background and must upload required documents.
a) Diploma and transcripts with notarized translation into English;
(While registering online, academic certificate can be accepted from the school in case if an applicant has not received the Diploma yet. Academic certificate must also be notarized and translated into English.)
b) type of educational school he/she graduated:
lyceum;
college;
secondary school.
5. Required documents: Applicants need to upload scanned copies of the following documents while registering online in PDF format:

Foundation Year is the first year of education designed by MDIS (Singapore) for those applicants who graduated from a Secondary School (11 years of compulsory education) or an Academic Lyceum or Professional College (12 years of compulsory education) and wish to start their studies from the first year of study in MDIS Tashkent. Students in Foundation Year will have great opportunities to improve and advance their English language and Communication skills. They obtain knowledge in Mathematics, Fundamentals of Information Technology, Introduction to Business Management and expand their outlook taking the classes such as Social Enlightenment. This is the two- semester program, which starts in the middle of September each year.
Upon successful completion of Foundation Year, students can proceed to the following programs offered by UK universities (Bangor University and University of Sunderland) in MDIS Tashkent:

6. Contract issuance
Contract issuance days will be announced at www.mdis.uz Applicants should collect the contract at MDIS Tashkent campus within the set schedule after the exam results are released. The due date for the payment of contract is within seven banking days from the day of issuance the contract. Applicant who fails to collect the contract or fails to make the payment within 7 banking days from the date of contract issuance in the amount of 50%, the contract becomes void and will not be reissued to the same applicant.
Applicants must submit original copies of the following documents to collect the contract:
Official letter to Rector;
2 photocopies of passport (with permanent registration);
Diploma and transcripts of the General Education from a Secondary School, Academic Lyceum or Professional College;
MDIST application form (personal information form);
IELTS certificate (original);
Medical certificate (form №086);
Photocopy of military recruit registration card (male applicants);
6 photos (3.5X4.5 sized).
7. Tuition Fee
The contract fee is fixed at level of 28, 800, 000 UZS (twenty-eight million eight hundred thousand) for the 2019-2020 academic year. Installment payments are available.

WIUT offers a discount for the Intensive Course in Prefoundatin Studies of up to 25% to national students, who are able to make contract payments during the specified deadline dates (March 1, 2019).

WIUT has established following changes of scholarship conditions for the Academic year of 2019-2020:
✅Only those applicants, who indicated their desire to win the scholarship at the point of application to the University, will be considered for WIUT scholarship programme.
✅WIUT Scholarship Programme to be defined as a 100% fee waiver offered to citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan entering WIUT at level 3.
✅WIUT Scholarship is to be offered based on performance in English (IELTS scores only) and the WIUT Entrance exam in mathematics: The principle is a weighted score of 60% IELTS and 40% Mathematics.
✅30 scholarship places are available at level 3. In order to keep scholarship privileges, students have to demonstrate top performance. The performance is determined by CIFS certificate with merit or distinction (foundation level) or by the Dean's List (for all undergraduate degree levels). Failing to comply with above leads to withdrawing the scholarship.
✅According to the Decree of Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan (№ 417, June 2, 2018), the statute about the procedure on enrolling handicapped students on the basis of additional scholarship places in all HE institutions has been adopted. Supporting government’s initiative WIUT allocates 2 places for such category of people from 2019-2020 academic year
✅3 scholarship places are available for students who completed full-term military service in the army but with the condition, a student progresses to the next level. Otherwise, the scholarship for such category of students is withdrawn as well.
✅Any restriction that had been previously imposed to scholarship students after the graduation in terms of receiving their degree certificates will be lifted
The University reserves the right to reject those scholarship applicants, who did not meet one of the parameters of WIUT.
For self-financed students:
15% discount is available to self-financed students who managed to be in the Dean’s List (including those who completed the foundation level with merit or distinction). This scheme is also viewed as an incentive for better studying and social support.
Starting from 2019-2020 academic year, in addition to 30 a scholarship places, 2 tuition-free scholarship places are allocated for handicapped students.
These scholarships are granted to persons who belong to disability groups I and II, based on the first two highest entry exam scores among them and prove they belong to families with low socio-economic background. Such applicants should submit written applications for a scholarship with all attached evidence through the Executive Office for consideration.
