Sorry, but there is no new patch for Android. It is all done. Now, for nearly one month, we have just been running on patches.

It is time for a big update.

KR$NA's "Boom Shaka" is currently sitting at #7 on the LastWave charts. Let's push it to #1 as the most-listened track on LastWave , Let's listen it on Repeat 🎶🎵

LastWave Desktop v1.5.0 is here, our biggest update so far, with a 10-band equalizer, real crossfade, a floating mini player and a full visual refresh.

• 10-Band Equalizer: Shape your sound with ten bands, ready-made presets, and our Studio Master Clarity profiles for cleaner vocals and a wider stage.

• Real Crossfade: Tracks now blend into each other over 3-12 seconds instead of cutting off. Pick your length in Settings.

• Floating Mini Player: Detach the player into a small always-on-top window, drag it anywhere, and it remembers where you left it.

• Now Playing & Lyrics: The cover scales to fit, the details are easier to read, lyrics fade in smoothly instead of being clipped, and a clean static lyrics view sits alongside word-by-word.

• A Modern Look Everywhere: Accent colours now come from your pick, your system or the album cover itself — with softer corners, real depth in light mode, pages that grow out of what you clicked, and covers that fly into the album header.

• Smoother Playback: Fixed the freezes and audio stutters some of you ran into, made YouTube sign-in far more reliable, and the app now follows your system's reduce-motion setting.

• Platform Fixes: The AppImage runs on older graphics drivers again, and macOS gets its own window buttons.

• Please note: closing the window now quits the app and stops the music by default. If you liked it minimising to the tray, turn "Close to tray" back on in Settings.

Unpopular Opinion: Real audiophiles don't rely on algorithms. If you have complaints about the algorithm, it’s not our fault, it’s just because you have bad music taste.

So instead of complaining here about the recommendations, go out, manually discover some tracks, and actually improve your audio knowledge and music taste. Only then will you become true audiophiles.

In fact, the algorithm is intentionally terrible because we want you guys to go on a spiritual journey and discover the inner soul of music on your own. It's not a bug, it's a character-building feature. You’ll all thank me 5 years from now when you have the most elite music taste in the entire gang because of us. You're welcome. 🫡🎧
