LastWave Desktop v1.1.0 is here, bringing a smarter home feed, deeper OS integration, big performance wins and a lot of platform fixes.

• YouTube Music Home Feed: Home shelves — songs, artists, albums, playlists, mixes — now actually load from YTM instead of a dead section.

• Smarter Feed Fallback: Feed builds from YT liked/history/charts when Last.fm is unconfigured or failing, and empty Home tells you the real cause.

• Windows Media Keys: Hardware play/pause/next/previous now drive the player.

• Linux MPRIS: Now-playing metadata, status and transport on org.mpris.MediaPlayer2 — status bars, playerctl and media keys just work.

• Faster & Lighter: Static ambient background with half-res aura, faster cold starts, and cheaper lyrics/motion-art rendering.

• Better Playback: Track resolution matches Android, reliable progressive DASH, no more skips from unfinished assembly, and in-app shortcuts work from anywhere.

• Fixed Logins: macOS YouTube sign-in no longer hits the "not optimized" page, macOS false-offline fixed, Windows login stall + blank username fixed, Linux BotGuard window reused instead of flashing and crashing.

• Small Touches: Unmuting restores pre-mute volume, like button updates instantly, YT cards play on click, Nix flake for devShell and builds.

• More Packaging options: Portable Windows version and appimage for the linux folks.

LastWave Desktop v1.1.1 hotfix is here.

• Right Song, Every Time: Sometimes a remix or slowed version played instead of the original you picked. The player now sticks to the exact recording you asked for, and hands off cleanly when it can't.

• Japanese Tracks Get Lossless: Songs billed in kana + romaji (like よあけのうた) were stuck on low-quality audio while Android played them in full quality. They now resolve to lossless like everything else.

• Smarter Matching: The player is now much pickier about telling originals apart from remixes, live cuts, slowed edits and covers, across both lossless and YouTube sources. Old bad matches clear themselves automatically.

• Real FLAC Downloads: Some lossless downloads were saved with the wrong extension. They now save as proper tagged .flac files.
