๐ฏ Being Honest:
Story 1: Task of Stealing..!!
Once Ramakrishna asked his disciples to steal a little rice from their own home but there was one condition that nobody sees them stealing rice.
After a week all of his disciples came back with rice except for one. Everyone was happy as they were able to complete task given to them of stealing rice from home without anyone noticing them.
Ramakrishna asked that student reason for coming empty handed.
Student told him that even if he tries hard to steal rice hiding from everyone else, he always saw himself stealing rice.
So there was never ever a situation when he could have steal rice when nobody is seeing..
Because what ever we do, it is never hidden from one person and that is our-self.
That student who came empty handed was Swami Vivekananda.
Moral: Whenever we try to do Something Wrong, even if we hide it from Everyone Else yet we canโt Hide it from our-self. So we should Never do anything Wrong.
Story 2: Swami Vivekananda in Class..!!
Once while in school, recess time Narendra (Swami Vivekananda) was talking to his friends and everyone was listening to him so attentively that they were not aware of whatโs happening around them.
Meanwhile recess ended and teacher entered class and started teaching his subject to class. After sometime teacher heard some whispering and noticed that students were talking sitting behind.
Teacher was annoyed by it and started asking students about what he had been teaching in the class but no one in class could answer him. When teacher asked Narendra same question. Narendra answered each question correctly.
Teacher inquired about who was the one student talking to others and kept them involved in talks even during class.
Everyone in class pointed toward Narendranath but teacher refused to believe as he was only one who answered everything correctly. Teacher thought everyone was lying.
So he punished whole class and asked them to stand on bench as punishment except for Narendra. Yet Narendra joined his friend and stood up on the bench with other students.
Teacher asked him to come down and sit on his seat but Narendra replied, โNo Sir.. I must also stand up as i was the one who was talking to them..โ

โฃ๏ธFacing Difficulties in Life:
Once in a far away place lived a man who had faith in God. One night, a man was sleeping soundly. Suddenly a huge sound woke him up. When he opened his eyes, he saw that his room was filled with light.
Just then God appeared before him, showed him a large rock outside his house and told him to push that rock with all his might.
Next morning when man woke up, he remembered what he saw that night. He got outside and pushed it with all his might but wasnโt able to move it. Despite it man didnโt give up and from that day he made his routine to push that rock daily with all his might.
For many years he toiled from sun up to sun down, his shoulders set squarely against the cold, massive surface of that large rock, pushing with all of his might.
Each night the man returned to his cabin sore and worn out, feeling that his whole day had been spent in vain as that rock never moved a bit even after many years.
Not seeing any progress, man started to get discourage and just then devil showed up in his dream and said, โYou have been pushing that rock for long time but it hasnโt moved.. Why to go through all that pain? Itโs impossible to move that rock thatโs why Itโs better to leave it at this and live easy life..โ
Saying this devil disappeared.
Man was disheartened but still he decided to pray to God and tell him about his troubled thoughts.
He prayed, โI have labored long and hard in your service, putting up all my strength for what you have asked me to do and yet after all this time.
I have not even budged that rock by millimeter.. What am i doing wrong?? Why am i failing?โ
Just than God appeared and said, โMy child, i asked you to serve me and you accepted it. I told you to push that rock but i never said that i expected you to move it..!!
Your task was to push and After all these your you think you have failed but is it really so??
Look at yourself, Your arms are strong and muscled, your back sinewy and brown, your hands are callused from constant pressure, your legs have become massive and hard.
Facing opposition you have grown and your abilities now surpass that you used to have.
You havenโt moved the rock But your calling was to be Obedient and to push and to Exercise your Faith and Trust in My wisdom. This you have done.โ
Moral: At times when we Face difficulties in Life, we should just Trust in God and Push. By all means, exercise the faith that moves mountains but know that it is still God who moves mountains.

๐ณUsing your All Means:
Once a father and son were working in garden. Child wanted to get appreciated by his father so he was trying his best to help his father by performing minor works as directed by his father.
Father and his son were working on different sides of garden. Father saw a stone on his son side. Father said, โSon.. remove that stone from that place, we will plant a nice plant there..โ
As directed by father, kid tried to move that stone but he was not able to move it. At last kid said to his father, โDad, i am not able to move this stone itโs too heavy. I canโt do it..โ
Father replied, โTry again.. Use all your means to remove this stone from that place..โ
Kid again tried and used all his strength but still he was not able to dislodge that stone from itโs place. Kid got tired and started to cry as he was not able to do it even after using all his effort.
Listening his son crying father came running toward his son, sat beside him and hold him near himself and said, โWhy are you crying?? You can move this stone. I told you to use all your means to move that stone.. Didnโt i??โ
Son with sad look on his face replied, โI did. Dad i tried my best to remove that stone but still was not able to do it.โ
โBut you forgot about me, my dear. If you needed help why didnโt you included me in your โMeansโ?โ replied father.
Child was enlightened to hear this and started working along with his father again. Now with his father help, he was able to remove that large stone easily from itโs place and plant a new plant in itโs place.

๐ Short story of the day ๐
At the end of a village on the verge of the steppe dwelt two brothers, one rich and the other poor. One day the poor brother came to the rich brotherโs house and sat down at his table; but the rich brother drove him away and said, โHow durst thou sit at my table? Be off! Thy proper place is in the fields to scare away the crows!โ So the poor brother went into the fields to scare away the crows. The crows all flew away when they saw him, but among them was a raven that flew back again and said to him, โO man! in this village thou wilt never be able to live, for here there is neither luck nor happiness for thee, but go into another village and thou shalt do well!โ Then the man went home, called together his wife and children, put up the few old clothes that still remained in his wardrobe, and went on to the next village, carrying his water-skin on his shoulders. On and on they tramped along the road, but the Unlucky Days clung on to the man behind, and said, โWhy dost thou not take us with thee? We will never leave thee, for thou art ours!โ So they went on with him till they came to a river, and the man, who was thirsty, went down to the waterโs edge for a drink. He undid his water-skin, persuaded the Unlucky Days to get into it, tied it fast again and buried it on the bank close by the river. Then he and his family went on farther. They went on and on till they came to another village, and at the very end of it was an empty hutโโthe people who had lived there had died of hunger. There the whole family settled down. One day they were all sitting down there when they heard something in the mountain crying, โCatch hold! catch hold! catch hold!โ The man went at once into his stable, took down the bit and reins that remained to him, and climbed up into the mountain. He looked all about him as he went, and at last he saw, sitting down, an old goat with two large hornsโโit was the Devil himself, but of course he didnโt know that. So he made a lasso of the reins, threw them round the old goat, and began to drag it gently down the mountain-side. He dragged it all the way up the ladder of his barn, when the goat disappeared, but showers and showers of money came tumbling through the ceiling. He collected them all together, and they filled two large coffers. Then the poor man made the most of his money, and in no very long time he was well-to-do. Then he sent some of his people to his rich brother, and invited him to come and live with him. The rich brother pondered the matter over. โMaybe he has nothing to eat,โ thought he, โand that is why he sends for me.โ So he bade them bake him a good store of fat pancakes, and set out accordingly. On the way he heard that his brother had grown rich, and the farther he went the more he heard of his brotherโs wealth. Then he regretted that he had brought all the pancakes with him, so he threw them away into the ditch. At last he came to his brotherโs house, and his brother showed him first one of the coffers full of money and then the other. Then envy seized upon the rich brother, and he grew quite green in the face. But his brother said to him, โLook now! I have buried a lot more money in a water-skin, hard by the river; you may dig it up and keep it if you like, for I have lots of my own here!โ The rich brother did not wait to be told twice. Off he went to the river, and began digging up the water-skin straightway. He unfastened it with greedy, trembling hands; but he had no sooner opened it than the Unlucky Days all popped out and clung on to him. โThou art ours!โ said they. He went home, and when he got there he found that all his wealth was consumed, and a heap of ashes stood where his house had been. So he went and lived in the place where his brother had lived, and the Unlucky Days lived with him ever afterward

โณ๏ธ Salesman Honesty:
Once upon a time, two salesman Sam and Tom came up together to far away town. They used to sell hand-made jewels. When they came to town they decided that one will sell in one part of town and other will sell in another part.
Also, after one has gone through area once, other can go and sell in that part of town.
In street a little girl saw salesman with jewels and wanted to buy it. She went to her grandma and asked her for money.
Grandma replied, โHoney, we donโt have any money to buy even proper food than how can i buy you bracelet..โ
Girl was disappointed but still wanted to buy a jewel for herself. She went inside kitchen and bought out an old blackish plate and said, โGrandma, if we donโt have money, canโt we buy one in exchange of this plate..โ
Grandma replied, โOk dear.. I will give it a try..โ
Grandma asked salesman (Sam) to come inside. Sam saw their condition and understood that they were poor so responded rudely to them.
Old lady was holding that plate and showed it to salesman saying, โI donโt have money but you can take this plate in exchange for a bracelet.โ
Sam didnโt want to waste much time with them so just to get over with it he looked at that plate but to his surprise he found out that it was made of gold. He got greedy and thought to himself that he can deceive that old lady and could get the plate by paying least.
So he planned that he would leave for now and return later when she would accept even less for plate.
He didnโt let it on that he noticed it and said, โThis is not even worth one bracelet. You canโt get anything for this..โ and left.
Meanwhile, other salesman (Tom) had finished his part of town and now went toward another part of town.
He ended up reaching same house of old lady. Seeing salesman little girl again went to her grandma and asked for bracelet.
For little girls happiness grandma went to salesman and showed him plate and said, โCan you give me one bracelet in exchange for this old plate??โ
Tom humbly replied, โSure..โ and examined it and found that it was gold plate.
He replied to her, โMam, all my goods and money altogether are not worth for this plate. Itโs very costly.โ
Old woman was shocked at discovery but seeing Tom honest reply she said, โIf you know itโs value, i will gladly accept whatever you can offer in exchange for this plate..โ
Tom took out all his stuff and money and said, โMam, i will give you all these plus all the money, if you just let me keep few coins to return to cityโฆ in exchange of golden plate..โ
Old lady accepted his offer. Tom left with gold plate and some coins to pay for ferry to return to city.
After sometime Sam returned thinking of all the money he could get with that plate and went to old lady.
Sam went to her and said, โI have changed my mind.. I can offer you few cents for that useless black plate..โ
Old lady was angry with him for lying yet calmly replied to him, โYou lied to us.. Other salesman came and he told us the value of plate and made trade with us. He has left with that plate. I have nothing to do with you now..โ
Sam could do nothing now. His greediness has cause him great lose.
Moral: One should not get Greedy and try to Cheat other and live Life with Honesty.

โ Ethanol is the most common alcohol.Have you ever wondered why a bottle of pure ethanol doesnโt freeze, even when you store it in the deep freezer? As you may know, alcohols are characteristically difficult to freeze into their solid states..
๐This is because ethanol is an organic, non-polar compound and cannot make strong hydrogen bonds. This affects the intermolecular forces and makes them weak. Since the H-bonds and intermolecular forces are weak, the ethanol molecules refuse to cooperate and join together. This leads to the compound having higher energy, so it needs a much lower temperature to solidify.

๐ Short story of the day ๐
๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ตHow will You Respond:
Once a young women complained to her mother about how hard her life is going on and that she wanted to give up.
After listening to her, her mother took her to kitchen and there she took three pots and filled them with water then she placed pots with water on fire and bring them to boil.
In the first pot she placed carrots, in second she placed eggs and in the last post she placed some grounded coffee beans.
After 20 mins she turned off gas and took out boiled carrots and eggs and placed them in a bowl and in a cup poured some of the coffee. She kept all those bowls in front of her daughter and asked, โTell me.. What do you see??โ
Daughter replied, โCarrot, eggs and coffee.โ Mother moved bowl of carrot toward her daughter and asked to touch and feel texture of carrot.
Daughter did same and replied, โItโs soft.โ
Now mother moved bowl of eggs toward her and asked her to break the egg.
Daughter did same and replied, โItโs hard..โ
Finally mother asked daughter to drink a sip of coffee. After drinking coffee she tasted itโs rich aroma.
Daughter looked at her mother and questioned, โWhat does it mean??โ
Her mother explained, โEach of these objects faced same adversity but reacted differently. As you can see carrot was hard and strong but after being subjected to boiling water, it became softened and weak.
Eggs which were fragile, after getting boiled it became hardened. At last, coffee which we added to boiling water, changed water..โ
After explaining this, mother asked her daughter, โWhich are you? When you face adversity in life, how will you respond?
Are you going to lose your strength after facing adversity or you would be like egg hard and tougher. If you are like the bean, when things are at their worst.. you get better and change the situation around you.
When the hours are the darkest and trials are their greatest, do you elevate to another level? How do you handle adversity? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?โ
