๐Ÿ’ฏ Being Honest:

Story 1: Task of Stealing..!!

Once Ramakrishna asked his disciples to steal a little rice from their own home but there was one condition that nobody sees them stealing rice.

After a week all of his disciples came back with rice except for one. Everyone was happy as they were able to complete task given to them of stealing rice from home without anyone noticing them.

Ramakrishna asked that student reason for coming empty handed.

Student told him that even if he tries hard to steal rice hiding from everyone else, he always saw himself stealing rice.

So there was never ever a situation when he could have steal rice when nobody is seeing..

Because what ever we do, it is never hidden from one person and that is our-self.

That student who came empty handed was Swami Vivekananda.

Moral: Whenever we try to do Something Wrong, even if we hide it from Everyone Else yet we canโ€™t Hide it from our-self. So we should Never do anything Wrong.

Story 2: Swami Vivekananda in Class..!!

Once while in school, recess time Narendra (Swami Vivekananda) was talking to his friends and everyone was listening to him so attentively that they were not aware of whatโ€™s happening around them.

Meanwhile recess ended and teacher entered class and started teaching his subject to class. After sometime teacher heard some whispering and noticed that students were talking sitting behind.

Teacher was annoyed by it and started asking students about what he had been teaching in the class but no one in class could answer him. When teacher asked Narendra same question. Narendra answered each question correctly.

Teacher inquired about who was the one student talking to others and kept them involved in talks even during class.

Everyone in class pointed toward Narendranath but teacher refused to believe as he was only one who answered everything correctly. Teacher thought everyone was lying.

So he punished whole class and asked them to stand on bench as punishment except for Narendra. Yet Narendra joined his friend and stood up on the bench with other students.

Teacher asked him to come down and sit on his seat but Narendra replied, โ€œNo Sir.. I must also stand up as i was the one who was talking to them..โ€

โœ… Why does rain fall in the form of tiny, but seemingly infinite drops?

๐Ÿ“ŒRain droplets are water that is condensed as a result of evaporation. Therefore, rain is also called precipitation.Rain fall as drops because the water in clouds is in a vapor state. As this vapor condenses, it moves into a solid form. The solid mass leaves the cloud, and as it falls, the temperature around it turns it into a drop.

โ˜ฃ๏ธFacing Difficulties in Life:

Once in a far away place lived a man who had faith in God. One night, a man was sleeping soundly. Suddenly a huge sound woke him up. When he opened his eyes, he saw that his room was filled with light.

Just then God appeared before him, showed him a large rock outside his house and told him to push that rock with all his might.

Next morning when man woke up, he remembered what he saw that night. He got outside and pushed it with all his might but wasnโ€™t able to move it. Despite it man didnโ€™t give up and from that day he made his routine to push that rock daily with all his might.

For many years he toiled from sun up to sun down, his shoulders set squarely against the cold, massive surface of that large rock, pushing with all of his might.

Each night the man returned to his cabin sore and worn out, feeling that his whole day had been spent in vain as that rock never moved a bit even after many years.

Not seeing any progress, man started to get discourage and just then devil showed up in his dream and said, โ€œYou have been pushing that rock for long time but it hasnโ€™t moved.. Why to go through all that pain? Itโ€™s impossible to move that rock thatโ€™s why Itโ€™s better to leave it at this and live easy life..โ€

Saying this devil disappeared.

Man was disheartened but still he decided to pray to God and tell him about his troubled thoughts.

He prayed, โ€œI have labored long and hard in your service, putting up all my strength for what you have asked me to do and yet after all this time.

I have not even budged that rock by millimeter.. What am i doing wrong?? Why am i failing?โ€

Just than God appeared and said, โ€œMy child, i asked you to serve me and you accepted it. I told you to push that rock but i never said that i expected you to move it..!!

Your task was to push and After all these your you think you have failed but is it really so??

Look at yourself, Your arms are strong and muscled, your back sinewy and brown, your hands are callused from constant pressure, your legs have become massive and hard.

Facing opposition you have grown and your abilities now surpass that you used to have.

You havenโ€™t moved the rock But your calling was to be Obedient and to push and to Exercise your Faith and Trust in My wisdom. This you have done.โ€

Moral: At times when we Face difficulties in Life, we should just Trust in God and Push. By all means, exercise the faith that moves mountains but know that it is still God who moves mountains.

๐Ÿ“ŒTears are salty because they contain electrolytes, which are natural salts that the body requires for nervous system function and the transfer of information between different nerve cells.

โœ…When you stand on top of a hill amongst soaring trees and shout your name, after a short delay, is heard recursively, although successively fainted or dwindled. This returned sound is an echo.

๐Ÿ“ŒFor reflection of sound wave to take place the size of the reflector should be large So a mountain side and deep valleys are good reflector of sound for producing an echo. The reason that echoes arenโ€™t heard in rooms is that the reflected sounds are received in less than 0.1 seconds, or the reflecting surfaces are at distances of less than 17 meters. Reverberations can also be heard in an empty apartment.

๐ŸŒณUsing your All Means:

Once a father and son were working in garden. Child wanted to get appreciated by his father so he was trying his best to help his father by performing minor works as directed by his father.

Father and his son were working on different sides of garden. Father saw a stone on his son side. Father said, โ€œSon.. remove that stone from that place, we will plant a nice plant there..โ€

As directed by father, kid tried to move that stone but he was not able to move it. At last kid said to his father, โ€œDad, i am not able to move this stone itโ€™s too heavy. I canโ€™t do it..โ€

Father replied, โ€œTry again.. Use all your means to remove this stone from that place..โ€

Kid again tried and used all his strength but still he was not able to dislodge that stone from itโ€™s place. Kid got tired and started to cry as he was not able to do it even after using all his effort.

Listening his son crying father came running toward his son, sat beside him and hold him near himself and said, โ€œWhy are you crying?? You can move this stone. I told you to use all your means to move that stone.. Didnโ€™t i??โ€

Son with sad look on his face replied, โ€œI did. Dad i tried my best to remove that stone but still was not able to do it.โ€

โ€œBut you forgot about me, my dear. If you needed help why didnโ€™t you included me in your โ€˜Meansโ€™?โ€ replied father.

Child was enlightened to hear this and started working along with his father again. Now with his father help, he was able to remove that large stone easily from itโ€™s place and plant a new plant in itโ€™s place.

Moral: When we fail in Action and feel Depressed, we should not Forget about God. When ever we are not able to Keep Up we should Seek Help from God and Have Faith in him.

๐Ÿ–Œ Short story of the day ๐Ÿ–Œ

At the end of a village on the verge of the steppe dwelt two brothers, one rich and the other poor. One day the poor brother came to the rich brotherโ€™s house and sat down at his table; but the rich brother drove him away and said, โ€œHow durst thou sit at my table? Be off! Thy proper place is in the fields to scare away the crows!โ€ So the poor brother went into the fields to scare away the crows. The crows all flew away when they saw him, but among them was a raven that flew back again and said to him, โ€œO man! in this village thou wilt never be able to live, for here there is neither luck nor happiness for thee, but go into another village and thou shalt do well!โ€ Then the man went home, called together his wife and children, put up the few old clothes that still remained in his wardrobe, and went on to the next village, carrying his water-skin on his shoulders. On and on they tramped along the road, but the Unlucky Days clung on to the man behind, and said, โ€œWhy dost thou not take us with thee? We will never leave thee, for thou art ours!โ€ So they went on with him till they came to a river, and the man, who was thirsty, went down to the waterโ€™s edge for a drink. He undid his water-skin, persuaded the Unlucky Days to get into it, tied it fast again and buried it on the bank close by the river. Then he and his family went on farther. They went on and on till they came to another village, and at the very end of it was an empty hutโ€“โ€“the people who had lived there had died of hunger. There the whole family settled down. One day they were all sitting down there when they heard something in the mountain crying, โ€œCatch hold! catch hold! catch hold!โ€ The man went at once into his stable, took down the bit and reins that remained to him, and climbed up into the mountain. He looked all about him as he went, and at last he saw, sitting down, an old goat with two large hornsโ€“โ€“it was the Devil himself, but of course he didnโ€™t know that. So he made a lasso of the reins, threw them round the old goat, and began to drag it gently down the mountain-side. He dragged it all the way up the ladder of his barn, when the goat disappeared, but showers and showers of money came tumbling through the ceiling. He collected them all together, and they filled two large coffers. Then the poor man made the most of his money, and in no very long time he was well-to-do. Then he sent some of his people to his rich brother, and invited him to come and live with him. The rich brother pondered the matter over. โ€œMaybe he has nothing to eat,โ€ thought he, โ€œand that is why he sends for me.โ€ So he bade them bake him a good store of fat pancakes, and set out accordingly. On the way he heard that his brother had grown rich, and the farther he went the more he heard of his brotherโ€™s wealth. Then he regretted that he had brought all the pancakes with him, so he threw them away into the ditch. At last he came to his brotherโ€™s house, and his brother showed him first one of the coffers full of money and then the other. Then envy seized upon the rich brother, and he grew quite green in the face. But his brother said to him, โ€œLook now! I have buried a lot more money in a water-skin, hard by the river; you may dig it up and keep it if you like, for I have lots of my own here!โ€ The rich brother did not wait to be told twice. Off he went to the river, and began digging up the water-skin straightway. He unfastened it with greedy, trembling hands; but he had no sooner opened it than the Unlucky Days all popped out and clung on to him. โ€œThou art ours!โ€ said they. He went home, and when he got there he found that all his wealth was consumed, and a heap of ashes stood where his house had been. So he went and lived in the place where his brother had lived, and the Unlucky Days lived with him ever afterward
