π Moral story of the day π
πThe Nail
A tradesman had done a good dayβs business at a fair. The next morning, he took his bag of money and rode off on his horse planning to reach home by evening.
On the way, he stopped at an inn for lunch. A stable boy told him that a nail was missing in the shoe of the left foot of the horse. But the tradesman did not listen to him as he was in a .hurry to reach home. A little later, the tradesman was advised by another stable boy to fix a nail on the horseβs shoe but yet again he didnβt pay attention to him in his hurry to reach home as soon as possible. The horse began to limp after some time and soon it fell down and broke its leg. The tradesman had to leave his horse on the way .and walk home. On the way, two robbers attacked him and stole his money.
As the tradesman walked home, battered and beaten, he regretted not fixing the nail on the horseβs shoe in his haste to reach home.

The neck of the pitcher was too long and the water level too low. The crow could not reach the water with her beak. She saw many pebbles around. Suddenly, the crow had an idea. She picked thepebbles one by one and dropped them in the pitcher. And lo! The level of water slowly rose to the top. The crow drank it thirstily. She was very happy.

π Short Story of the day π
π§π»ββοΈπ₯Amin and the Eggs
Once, there lived a farmer called Amin in Arabia. He lost all his crops due to a drought and became poor. So he asked a trader to lend him a dozen boiled eggs. The next day he set off on his donkey to seek his fortune.
After seven years, Amin came back to his native village a rich man. He rode a fine black horse and had many camels carrying gold and silver. Soon everyone came to know of his wealth. When the greedy trader heard this, he asked for five hundred silver coins as payment for the eggs that he had given to Amin seven years ago. Amin refused to pay. They took the matter to court.
On the day of the hearing, Amin arrived forty minutes late, panting. The judge asked, βWhere have you been?β Before Amin could reply, the greedy trader spoke, βSir, Amin owes me five hundred silver coins. I gave him a dozen eggs. A dozen chickens must have hatched from them. These would have laid even more eggs. I too would have been rich by now.β The trader thought that the judge would decide in his favour. βThe judge asked Amin again, βWhy are you so late?β Amin simply said, βSir, I was planting a dozen boiled beans in the garden, so that I have a good crop of beans next year.
The judge shouted, βYou fool! Since when did boiled beans start growing?β At once Amin replied, βAnd, sir, since when did boiled eggs start hatching?β Amin won the case while the trader hung his head in shame and walked away.
