How Acads used AI (OpenAI ChatGPT) to solve Ethics 2022 GS questions [1/n]
With all the hype surrounding OpenAI new conversation egnine, we decided to test its capabilities. And we were blown away when we saw the results!
Thanks @g0uravs for the help.
Version 1: Started with simple copy-pasting of the question from CSE Ethics 20222
Analysis:
Pros:
1. Exceptionally good with figuring out the keywords and targeting them. In subsequent versions, we trained the model to start with definitions.
2. Subparts are made by referencing to questions
3. Better than expected coherency in writing
Cons:
1. Sentences are longer than we need in CSE
2. A few subparts are missing.
3. Conclusion is missing
Good news - We managed to resolve above issues in subsequent versions
Let’s try to tweak our input text prompts a little bit and see if we can leverage AI for better answer.

Why “Model Answers” is the most inefficienct way to prepare for RBI Grade B Descriptive?
With the change in pattern, RBI Phase II is now 70% descriptive. Still, the material that aspirants are studying remains the same as that of old pattern. Aspirants first study bulky materials for the objective part and when they find it hard to revise before Phase II they try to fill the gap through reading of model answers. Or the worst, they try to evaluate their answers through model answers.
The beauty (and also the curse) of descriptive question is that there is no right answer as such. Model answers are prepared assuming we have unlimited brain power and we can remember every fact in the world. But we are not AI, we are humans!
While model answers based evaluation is easy for the business of a coaching institute, it causes more harm than good to an aspirant’s preparation. Our request is to not get disheartended by looking at facts heavy model answers that are humanly impossible to reproduce in the exam. Instead, this is what @acads recommends
1. Have ready made templates for all the topics of the mains that can be easily replicated across answers.
2. Ready made intros and conclusions
3. Focus on right structuring and breaking down of questions - Please see Acads Lego Method video for this.
4. Sprinkle value addition material like facts, data, committees, Articles etc to get an edge over others.
5. Not just practice, but deliberate practice.

When you plan for the Phase II, you plan in terms of 4 months. The moment you start imagining having 120 days for the preparation, you tend to get over-ambitious and start reading unnecessary materials.
Plan for last 15 days instead. Because It's what you are revising in the last 15 days, would be useful in the final exam. In the next 105 days, study only those things that you can revise in these last 15 days.
Scarcity leads to innovation and efficiency. This is true for in RBI Grade B exam also.
