As per NSE circular, index derivative lot sizes will be revised from 30 Dec 2025 (EOD).
Revised Lot Sizes
• NIFTY 50: 75 → 65
• BANKNIFTY: 35 → 30
• FINNIFTY: 65 → 60
• MIDCPNIFTY: 140 → 120
• NIFTY NEXT 50: No change

Applicability
• Weekly & Monthly contracts:
Existing lot size valid till Dec 2025 monthly expiry.
Revised lot size weekly & monthly contracts (post 30 Dec expiry) will be available thereafter.

• All contracts from March 2026 onwards:
Revised lot size will be applicable and available after 30 Dec 2025 EOD.

Important
• *Positions carried beyond 30 Dec 2025 EOD in long-dated contracts may get stuck due to quantity mismatch*
• Clients are advised to close such positions
• New positions from March 2026 onwards will be blocked from 29 Dec 2025
