📹 Netflix used generative AI in its content for the first time — in the Argentine series El Eternauta, an AI-created building collapse scene was made.

According to co-CEO Ted Sarandos, this allowed the process to speed up 10 times and significantly reduce costs. The company sees AI as a tool that helps creators work faster, cheaper, and better — especially in the pre-production stages and in creating visual effects.

📘AI Word of the Day – Backpropagation

🧠 What is it?
Backpropagation is how an AI model fixes its mistakes while learning. It adjusts itself step-by-step to improve its accuracy.

💡 Simple Example:
Imagine throwing darts at a target blindfolded. Each time you miss, someone tells you how far off you were — so next time, you aim better.
That feedback loop is like backpropagation.

🤖 In AI:
After the model makes a wrong prediction, backpropagation helps it figure out where it went wrong and updates its internal rules to do better next time.

🔧 Used in:
Training neural networks — especially deep learning models like GPT and image recognition AIs.

🎯 Why it matters:
Without backpropagation, AI wouldn’t know how to get better at anything — it’s the core of learning in modern AI.

📘AI Word of the Day – Training

🧠 What is it?
In AI, “training” means teaching a model to understand patterns using lots of data — just like humans learn by practicing.

💡 Simple Example:
Imagine showing a child 1,000 pictures of cats and dogs and telling them which is which. After enough examples, they start to recognize them on their own. That’s training — but for a machine.

🤖 In AI:
The model looks at tons of data, finds patterns, and “learns” how to make predictions or decisions.

📍Why it matters:
The better the training, the smarter the AI. Bad training = bad results.

📘AI Word of the Day – Prompt

🧠 What is it?
A prompt is a question or instruction you give to an AI to get a response.

💬 Simple Example:
When you type:
“Write a tweet about Bitcoin” —
That sentence is the prompt.

🤖 In AI:
Prompts guide AI models like ChatGPT, Midjourney, or DALL·E on what you want them to do — whether it's writing, coding, drawing, or answering.

🎯 Why it matters:
The better your prompt, the better the result.
This is why “prompt engineering” is becoming a real skill!

🤖 Trump plans to completely lift restrictions on AI development in the U.S., a new plan was developed by "crypto czar" David Sacks.

Key points:

🔴Removal of all rules and barriers hindering AI startups.
🔴Focus on neural network models "without ideological biases."
🔴Massive funding for AI research and development.
🔴Easier access to land for data centers and other AI-related infrastructure.
🔴All Biden-era AI restrictions will be lifted.
🔴Export controls on hardware and geolocation tracking of chips.
🔴Investments in nuclear energy to power ChatGPT, Grok, and other neural networks.
🔴Strict control over chips and intensification of the AI race with China.

Previously, we reported that Trump will allocate up to $500 billion for AI infrastructure in the U.S. — OpenAI, Softbank, and Oracle will create a joint company, Stargate.

🤖 GPT-5 will be released in early August — but OpenAI will not present it as a single specific model.

Instead, it is about an AI system that combines several models at once and is capable of performing different tasks.

Earlier, Sam Altman noted that the company aims to combine its models for reasoning and basic functions into a single system.

📘AI Word of the Day – Hallucination

🤖 What it means:
When an AI makes up stuff that isn’t true — we call it a hallucination.

🧠 In simple words:
The AI gives you an answer that sounds real, but it’s actually wrong or imaginary.

💬 Example:
You ask ChatGPT: “Who won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2023?”
And it confidently gives you a name — but that person never won it. That’s a hallucination.

Why does it happen?
AI doesn’t “know” facts. It predicts words based on patterns — so sometimes, it fills in the blanks with the wrong stuff.

🚫 Important:
Always double-check critical info from AI, especially for news, medicine, or finance.

🤖 Sam Altman, head of OpenAI, shared a series of bold predictions about the future of AI and human society:

1️⃣ Colleges will become a thing of the past. Education in its traditional form will become unnecessary for the generation just being born.

2️⃣ GPT-5 is already surpassing Altman. The new model handles specialized tasks better than Sam himself and, according to him, will soon be able to take on the role of CEO. Managing large companies may soon become a task for machines.

3️⃣ AI will replace a significant portion of office work. Future models will think, code, negotiate, and plan faster than humans. This will affect many professions.

4️⃣ The intelligence gap between humans and AI will only grow. Machines will become not just assistants but independent managers. Even within OpenAI, the CEO role could be assigned to a system.

5️⃣ Public ownership of AI products is an alternative to basic income. Altman believes that collective benefits from AI are preferable to simple monetary payments to the population.

6️⃣ AI makes humans redundant. When GPT-5 instantly solved a complex problem, Altman felt his own uselessness — this feeling may soon become widespread.

7️⃣ Nuclear fusion is the key to the energy of the future. To meet the growing needs of AI, humanity will require fundamentally new energy sources.

8️⃣ Artificial wombs will replace pregnancy. Within 40 years, childbirth may completely move into the realm of biotechnology.

⚖️ Sam Altman stated that personal conversations with AI, such as in ChatGPT, can be used in court — unlike conversations with real therapists or lawyers, such data is not yet protected by law.

He emphasized that more and more people use ChatGPT as a personal assistant or "therapist," however, such conversations do not have legal confidentiality.

Altman believes that there is an urgent need to create a new equivalent of "attorney-client privilege" for communication with AI to guarantee user privacy. For now, if a court request arises, OpenAI may be required to provide access to such dialogues, even if the user has already deleted them.
What is Generative AI?

Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) is a branch of AI that focuses on creating new content rather than just analyzing or classifying existing data. Unlike traditional AI systems that are designed to recognize patterns or make predictions, generative AI can produce original text, images, audio, video, code, and other forms of content that didn't exist before.

Key characteristics of Generative AI:

Content Creation: Can generate human-like text, realistic images, music, code, and even synthetic voices

Learning from Examples: Trained on vast datasets to understand patterns and styles, then applies this knowledge to create new, original content

Versatility: Can adapt to various tasks and domains - from writing assistance to image generation to code completion

Interactive: Many GenAI systems can engage in conversations, respond to prompts, and iteratively refine outputs based on feedback

💁‍♂ Common examples include:
- Large Language Models (like GPT, Claude) for text generation and conversation
- Image generators (like DALL-E, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion) for creating artwork and photos
- Code generators (like GitHub Copilot) for programming assistance
- Audio/Music generators for creating original compositions
- Video generators for producing synthetic video content

Generative AI represents a significant shift from AI that simply processes information to AI that actively creates new information, making it one of the most transformative technologies of our time.

🤖 Microsoft ranks jobs most vulnerable to AI

Microsoft analyzed 200,000 user chats with Bing Copilot to calculate an “AI applicability score” — showing how easily AI could assist or replace various professions.

🖱 Most at risk: translators, historians, copywriters, teachers, consultants, and support staff
🖱 Least affected: machine operators, housekeepers, dishwashers, massage therapists, roofers
🖱 Even in “vulnerable” jobs, AI often plays a supporting role — not full replacement
🖱 Microsoft notes the model reflects current usage, not long-term economic impact

The line between automation and augmentation is still blurry — but the direction is clear.
