Manipur: 3 Civilians Killed, Houses Torched in Kangpokpi Attack
A heavy firefight erupted around 4:00 AM on June 5, 2026, at Loibol Khullen (Kholen) village near the Tupul and New Keithelmanbi areas in Kangpokpi district. Reports indicate the assault was launched by a combined force of suspected insurgent groups NSCN-IM & ZUF (Kamson )militants, targeting the Kuki village.

Three civilians, identified as Letkhongam Haokip, his wife Tinmary Haokip, and Jangminlal Haokip, were killed on the spot, and at least seven houses were torched during the violence.

Massive fire breaks out in Nowshera Cantonment, KPK province of Pakistan.
Reports say the blaze started near Taqwa Mosque in Gul Market around 10:30 PM and quickly spread, gutting over 150 shops.
Several injuries are also being reported. Authorities have not confirmed casualties yet.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
