A high-intensity gunfight occurred yesterday evening (March 26, 2026) at approximately 5:30 PM (IST) on the Namgoi-Pangsau road in the Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh.
Terrorist Claim: The NSCN-K (Yung Aung) issued a formal statement claiming their "Naga Army Tactical Unit" killed three (3) Assam Rifles personnel on the spot. They specifically targeted the team providing security for the Indo-Myanmar border fencing project.
While security officials confirmed the ambush took place near Border Pillar 172-173, they have refuted the claim of three deaths. Official reports currently list one (1) soldier injured, identified as Ravi Kumar, who was evacuated for medical treatment.

At approximately 11:30 PM on March 26, 2026, the Myanmar Military Council (Junta) launched a precision Kamikaze Drone attack on the Kyun Taw Casino (also known as the Tiger Distribution Casino). The facility is located south of Myawaddy, near Phu Lay village, within territory controlled by the DKBA (Democratic Karen Buddhist Army).
The military situation is Tense (Level Red). Local populations are panicking due to the threat of ongoing aerial and drone bombardments. This strike on Chinese citizens is likely to trigger a diplomatic or security response from Beijing regarding border stability.
Casualties: 3 Chinese nationals killed; 13 others seriously injured.
Tactics: The Myanmar Military Council (Junta) used "technical weapons" to target a high-value economic asset within the DKBA-controlled Phu Lay village sector.

Today, Deputy Chief General Staff of Armed Forces, Haji Mali Khan "Sadiq" visited an area in Terwa District of Paktika Province that had been falsely portrayed as captured by the Pakistani military affiliated accounts.
During the visit, it was confirmed that the area remains entirely under the control of Afghan Defense Forces, and the reports circulated by the enemy are baseless.
The Afghan Defense Forces remain firmly committed to safeguarding the country’s territorial integrity and will not permit the loss of even a single inch of land, Inshallah.
The honorable people are urged to remain fully assured in this regard.
