Introducing the big update to working with maps, layers, and overlays!

1️⃣ We've added 29 new layers showcasing various places on the map, from camping grounds, water sources, and stores to scenic viewpoints.

2️⃣ To streamline navigation, we've organized our expanded range of maps, layers, and overlays into three categories:
- Maps
- Heatmaps
- Places

3️⃣ We've given pinned maps, layers, and overlays maximum space, so you can see as many as possible and quickly toggle between them.

4️⃣ You can switch between the first nine pinned layers using hotkeys (buttons 1, 2, 3).

5️⃣ You can still change the order of the pinned maps through drag-and-drop.

6️⃣ We've added the "Recent" tab next to the pinned maps panel. This tab conveniently aggregates all recently accessed maps and layers within a session, eliminating the need to search through the general menu again. You can also see all active layers on the map in this tab.

7️⃣ The main menu has been relocated to the top left corner, while the elevation profile graph button is centered at the bottom of the screen. For your convenience, the "Merge routes into one" feature is now inside the route card.

Introducing the beta version of track recording!

Why beta? We've tested track recording on several smartphones, but different devices may optimize the performance differently. That's why we can't guarantee it working smoothly on all smartphones yet.

We'd really appreciate your feedback in the community. If the track is recorded correctly on your device, please tell us about it as well. 😊

- We've optimized opening of long tracks. The interface doesn't freeze anymore.

Introducing some updates

➡️If you have a PRO subscription and you are a cycling or hiking organizer, you can safely drop the route link to your participants — they will be able to download it without registration and SMS.

➡️ There are 2 routes available for download in the free tariff every 30 days. The days counting starts after the first download.

FAQ:
❓Does downloading two different segments of the same route count as one download or as two?
As one download.

❓Will I be able to download my routes after my PRO subscription ends?
Yes, any number of times in any format. But if you edit your old route, then you can download it within the monthly limit.

❓New restrictions were introduced today, can I download routes built up to this point?
Yes, you can download any route that was built and edited before the restrictions were introduced. If you edit the old route now, you can download it within the monthly limit.

Updates and improvements based on your feedback:

1️⃣ The active route segment line now always appears on top of other segments.

2️⃣ When clicking the "Edit" button to make adjustments to your route, the system will maintain the route mode used in the previous segment. For instance, if you used the Road cycling mode before, subsequent segments will adopt this setting until you change the mode.

3️⃣ When you click on the eye icon to hide/show a segment and then the re-center map icon, this segment is NOT active anymore.

4️⃣ When hovering over the Surface type at the bottom of the screen, the service will highlight all segments of this type on the map.

5️⃣ The main menu is now on the top right across all pages.
