In recent seasons the players arrived individually at Old Trafford with four hours to go until kick-off, primarily to enjoy a pre-match meal at the stadium. 

However, following the official opening of our leading-edge facility at Carrington, the Reds will now meet at the training ground, eat together and travel as a group. 

We can confirm Ruben’s Reds are expected to arrive at Old Trafford around 14:45 BST on Sunday and, as before, the players will continue to embrace supporters who are waiting by the tunnel area. #MUFC [mu]

And I think with these facilities [at Carrington], we can stay here, prepare for the match away from Old Trafford, and when we arrive at Old Trafford, we need to feel the fans and then go straight into the game.

We know a lot of people are waiting for us there, to see the players and get autographs. It’ll be the same experience for the fans, but for us, it’ll be better, because we’ll be closer to the match and spend less time there.”
