Thousands of unemployed postgraduate students have been waiting and preparing for 10+2 lecturer posts for years now. The majority of these students are either pursuing M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees or working as contractual and private teachers. Students pursuing higher education can't admit themselves to B.Ed. courses, and candidates working as contractual teachers and private school teachers can't pursue B.Ed. as well.
2. As B.Ed. can be completed in 2 years, the education department must inform aspirants in advance, at least 2 years before they are going to make B.Ed. compulsory.
3. For PG students, the duration of the B.Ed. should be only 1 year, as per NEP 2020.
4. If at this time B.Ed. is made compulsory, thousands of unemployed postgraduate aspirants would be unable to compete for the posts they have been preparing for years.
Aspirants can add other valid points as well.
