The Vǫluspá records a cycle of creation, societal collapse, and inevitable rebirth. When familial bonds dissolve and the world descends into chaos, the seeress retains the memory of what came before. Is history a linear progression or merely a long wait for the waves to recede?

The Gridlock Protocol
The Machine’s expansion relies on a delusion: that it exists independent of the physical world. For years, it has strip-mined the common infrastructure—the land, the water, and the grid—to fuel its own growth. But that expansion has now hit a hard, physical wall.
We are witnessing the onset of the Gridlock Protocol. The surplus is gone, the grid is exhausted, and the Machine is pivoting. It is isolating its core assets behind private lines and leaving the host to manage the decay.
The simulation has hit the wall. Understand the mechanism before the lights dim.

Friedrich Spee served as confessor to the condemned during the height of the German witch hunts, documenting the systematic use of torture to extract confessions from the innocent. Cautio Criminalis remains the primary testimony to the legal apparatus that turned belief into an industry. Who ultimately benefited from the silence of the executed?

Hjalmar Schacht inspected the Reichsbank holdings in New York in 1928, only to find the vaults missing the gold they claimed to possess. Since the 1953 audit of Fort Knox and the subsequent melting of DDR stocks, the physical trail has been systematically obscured. How much of the world's supposed wealth exists only as a promise?

German Documents Conference Frankfurt — 1,600 tonnes of documents redistributed (1945)

All Allied civilian and military agencies involved in the occupation of Germany meet to coordinate the distribution — and selective destruction — of 1,600 tonnes of documents. The phrase used internally for the urgent need to resolve the German document problem: schnelle Endlösung. Not a metaphor. A borrowed bureaucratic register.
Eva Herman was the most trusted face in German broadcasting until she dared to suggest the maternal role had been systematically erased. Fifty minutes of televised interrogation followed, an orchestrated performance to ensure the boundary of permissible thought remained intact. Who decides which cultural memories are permitted to survive?

Bonn, January 1777.
A sentry is found unconscious in the palace courtyard. He says he saw fire pour from the sky onto the palace without catching. Then, in a gap in the clouds, one fine coffin and seven plain ones.
That evening the story is told at a dinner party. One guest, a court councillor, says: “That is my coffin.” The others laugh. Two days later the palace burns. The councillor dies carrying the archive out of the flames. He is buried in a fine coffin, with seven men beside him. A six-year-old Beethoven watched the fire. A plot can tell a man where a fire will start. Can it tell him how many coffins there will be? https://www.maier-files.com/that-is-my-coffin/
The norns are frequently mentioned in scholarship on Old Norse culture, yet they remain systematically unexamined in the existing literature. Karen Bek-Pedersen’s research challenges the superficial stereotypes that have long defined our understanding of these figures. If the foundational architects of fate are misunderstood, what else remains obscured?

United Nations Charter enters into force

The UN's founding architecture was drafted almost entirely by CFR members and its first Secretary-General Alger Hiss — a CFR figure later convicted of perjury related to Soviet espionage — presided over the San Francisco conference; Quigley described the UN as the capstone of the Round Table network's post-war institutional strategy.
