Untrue Ten Octave Russell Chart

🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫

GNOSIS NOTE: This is the original 1926 periodic chart of elements, published in The Universal One. This has been revised and corrected by Walter and Lao Russell in 1951 to be 9 Octaves, not the 10 Octaves shown here. The updated 9 Octave chart was first published in The Secret of Light correcting one of Dr. Russell's greatest graphical errors. Zero thru Nine can fractal to infinity, One thru Ten can not.

DR. WALTER RUSSELL'S SCIENCE SIMPLIFIED

🔸01. The Universe we believe to be solid and real is an illusion.

🔸02. Our senses trick us into believing motion is matter.

🔸03. The Universe is a projection of Mind, and is generated in the same way you imagine a thought in your own mind.

🔸04. Each body is composed of a physical and a metaphysical aspect. For example a human has a physical body and metaphysical character such as love, inspiration, desire, feelings, soul, etc.

🔸05. Mind centers all bodies. The physical manifestation is a result of the light of Mind passing through a negative (metaphysical aspect) casting the positive image into and onto the universal screen.

🔸06. Nothing exists in the Universe but Mind. Every aspect of Creation is Mind. Every aspect of Creation is therefore connected to every other aspect of Creation. All is ONE.

🔸07. The illusion of a solid universe is created through motion. Fast motion appears solid, while slow motion appears as vacuous space.

🔸08. Motion is a two way exchange. Matter motions to become space and space motions to become matter.

🔸09. There was no big-bang. This is a universe of motion not gravity.

🔸10. Gravity is an illusion of motion. Weight is not a property of matter.

🔸11. The illusion is created because of motion interchanging between countless opposite pairs. For example all the colors of the spectrum lie between the extremities of black and white. All potential lies between the maximum +ve and maximum -ve. All expressions of human life exist between male and female. This concept should be applied to ALL opposite pairs. All life exists between life and death.

🔸12. Our senses can only detect half of the Universe. Science spends all its time looking for the whole of cause in only half of the cycle.

THE RUSSELL PERIODIC CHART OF THE ELEMENTS, No.2 (1926)

“Periodicity is a Characteristic of All Phenomena of Nature”

“The nine octaves of the elements of matter manifest the polarization principle of producing dynamic action by extending two equators from a fulcrum point of rest. These two equators arise by gyroscopic action, multiplied centripetally, in four concentrative efforts to an amplitude plane which is 90 degrees from the zero plane of the inert gases. They then descend in four decentrative, depolarizing stages to disappear in their inert gases and again reappear from them in endless cycles throughout eternity. Thus do all bodies appear and disappear - to again reappear - forever.”

HE’D MAKE FORD RICH AND WOMEN PRETTY

New York Times: July 29, 1923

New York Artist Wants manufacturer to Turn His Chemists Loose on “Luminon”.

GLOWS LIKE A SUNSET

“New Element”: Would Do a Lot of Other Things if Developed, Says Discoverer.

The discovery of a new principle which should enable scientists to find an entirely new element. “luminon,” is claimed by Walter Russell, real estate operator and artist, 366 Madison Avenue, in an open letter to Henry Ford, made public yesterday.

Mr. Russell advised the automobile manufacturer to put his chemists to work to find “luminon,” which he says exists in coal and copper and which he suggests should “yield not only a vast fortune for you but give immortality to those of your chemists who find it.”

The letter of Mr. Russell in part follows:

“This new element should be abundantly found locked up in coal or copper ore, or wherever zinc, gallium, arsenic, tin, antimony, lead, bismuth and any phosphoric or nitrogenous compounds are found. In luminon lies the solution of the cold light problem which shall be the light of the future.

The cold light magnetically radiated by means of luminon will make women very beautiful to look upon because of the absence of red and orange rays. Its color will be delightfully amber green, that marvelous saffron glow which follows the setting sun, just that color which all women realize enhances their beauty without the artificial touch.

“The principle involved is an unknown one and involves a high knowledge of the causes of electricity and magnetism beyond that of even the great experts of today. Therefore I will not confuse this letter by attempting to explain it here even simply.

“The principle is thoroughly familiar to me, and when I make it known it will open up chemical and electrical possibilities heretofore undreamed of. Especially will it simplify long distance communication and lengthen wireless range.

“This may seem like an amazing statement for a man to make who is professionally known as an artist and who is not even known in science. I am ready, however, to make good on still more amazing statements than this.

PRESENT “COLD LIGHT” ATTEMPTS FUTILE

“Attempts now being made to produce ‘cold light’ will fail commercially because they are based on absolutely wrong electro-magnetic principles and the effects produced are deathly and hideous. Cold light produced this way transforms the rosy flesh of a woman into that of a corpse in appearance.

“The new element  I shall describe is one of six for which seats await at the family table of the elements between hydrogen and helium. Three of these six elements should be found abundantly in coal, also one other, a new inert gas, which I have named ‘hydron’ because it immediately precedes hydrogen in the table of the elements having an atomic weight of approximately .9, while the hydrogen atom is given as 1.008.

“In all there are 131 to 133 distinct and separate elements, all of which 1 have charted and found a place for at the family table. Twenty-five are beyond hydrogen, six follow hydrogen and nine are beyond uranium.

“I am not only ready to prove the existence of all these but also to demonstrate conclusively that there can be no more, for the last one, ‘omeganon’, closes the door to the cycle which has its beginning at absolute zero and in ‘alphanon’ and ending in absolute equilibrium in ‘omeganon’.

“To prophesy the existence of an undiscovered element seems strange to the uninitiated, but to the chemist or physicist the evidences of their existence are often as clear as the footprints of animals are to the hunter and woodsman.

“Because hydrogen is the only element which has no alpha particle nuclei it is not considered a ‘regular feller’ among the elements and the six empty seats have aroused not much concern.

WHERE LUMINON REALLY BELONGS

" 'Luminon’ will take her seat four places to the right of hydrogen at the table, with three intervening. This will bring her in the nitrogen group, hydrogen series, hydron octave.
👍1
(Note: I name each octave series by the inert gas which precedes it.) [H: This will have “helium” as its fulcrum keynote.] It will be strongly electro-negative. Its atomic weight will approximate 2.90. Its atomic volume will be about one-fourth the hydrogen atom. Its conductivity will be very high.

“You may justly ask what footprints or other indications lead me to believe in the presence of these particular animals in the forest, and more particularly ‘luminon’. If a hunter sees rabbit holes and bear tracks near a heap of feathers and bones he will not attribute all three to the rabbit. He will be certain of the presence of three distinct animals whose separate characteristics he is perfectly familiar with.

“The facts revealed to me by the ‘footprints of luminon’ in spectrum lines taught me the secret of the fire-fly, for the ability of the fire-fly or any other light-giving animal is due solely to their ability to store this gas within themselves and excite its luminosity at will.

TAKES ISSUE WITH MODERNISTS

“The electro-magnetic process which they use will be made clear when I make known my discovery of causes of positive and negative electricity and magnetism, also when I take issue with the modernists on their electro-magnetic theory of light as being waves in the ether.

“I shall then show that Newton was right in saying that light is corpuscular. I shall then show that ether waves are non-existent because the ether, as understood, is non-existent.”

Mr. Russell says it is quite possible to make a complete chart of the trail of “luminon” because “in helium it fairly sings its presence in the green line of wave length 4922.1 which is about 83 on Bunson’s chart,” and that there are evidences of it in one of the “triply green lines of neon”.

The real estate operator warns Mr. Ford that the latter’s chemists in looking for the new element “undoubtedly will confuse it with nitrogen because its strongest character lines in the green have been mistaken for nitrogen.

Mr. Russell says that “luminon” will show weakly in the red or orange and strongly in the blue and ultra-violet, and ends his letter by telling Mr. Ford: “If I were not engaged in a work of more immediate need for civilization than this I personally would search for ‘luminon’.”

Walter Russell's 1928 Bust of Thomas Edison
👍1
Thomas Edison (1847-1931) American Inventor. He developed devices like the electric bulb, an electrical generating station, a nickel-iron storage battery, a film projector and a phonograph, which greatly influenced modern life in the 20th century.

Walter Russell was 56 when he created his very first sculpture in 1928, the bust of Edison, who became his good friend. Russell wrote about him:

“Edison, building upon foundations laid by Franklin and Faraday, prepared the way for a new comprehension of this electric universe so that we know that anything which happens anywhere, happens everywhere. He prepared the way for our present radio-consciousness which gives us a new concept of energy and of the universe in general. As you all know, I made a portrait bust of him and very often, when I was working with him, I could see the light in his eyes that proclaimed him to me a super-genius, bordering on the mystic. He told me that everything he had ever invented or thought of came to him in timeless flashes.” ~ Walter Russell

EDISON ELECTRIC INSTITUTE BULLETIN
(1934) Volume 2, No.8, Page 262

BRONZE BUST OF EDISON ACQUIRED BY INSTITUTE

The Edison Electric Institute has acquired the bronze bust of Thomas A. Edison illustrated on the cover of this issue. The bust, a remarkably sensitive interpretation of the great electrical genius, is the work of Walter Russell, painter-sculptor. Somewhat larger than life-size, the bust has been placed in the conference room at the general offices of the Institute, where it occupies a place of honor.

The original bust was ordered by the late Dr. John W. Lieb, Vice-president of the New York Edison Company, a great admirer of the work of Mr. Russell. Dr. Lieb was anxious to have produced a symbolic portrait of Mr. Edison, instead of a cut and dried photographic likeness depicting one stage of a life instead of the whole of it. Dr. Lieb wanted the spirit of Thomas Edison rather than the flesh, the likeness which the public would recognize as covering a life-time of memories of him, rather than the one moment of any particular page of his career. Dr. Lieb believed Mr. Russell could accomplish this, and the present work is the result.

Mr. Russell studied his subject in Florida, and for many months he sat Mr. Edison at dinners and public occasions, besides observing him at work, until Mr. Edison became a living image in his mind. The sculptor also studied every photograph of his subject from babyhood on, until, as Mr. Russell tells it, a composite symbol of the great man sat for him in his studio, in the spirit, as he did the bust over and over for seven times, until he was satisfied that he had produced what his client wanted.

Photographs of the bust were made and shown to Dr. Lieb on what proved to be his death-bed. He was greatly pleased with the result and sent the artist an enthusiastic message of congratulations. Unfortunately, however, Dr. Lieb died and subsequently the contract was taken over by Mr. Preston S. Millar, who acquired the original bronze and loaned it to the Edison Pioneers.

The bust has been exhibited and has won the approval of the critics and the art world. Boris Luban, painter of Mr. Edison, has said that he considered the bust to be the “best sculptured portrait ever done of this great man, and the only successful one.” An official of one of the great galleries has pronounced it one of the best portrait busts in America. Jo Davidson, the sculptor, praised it highly but told the artist that he would like it better if there were more of the shoulders and body. Mr. Russell is adding to it as suggested, and is making a heroic-size enlargement of the bust.

Some of Mr. Edison’s close friends have had the bust reduced to desk size and purchased copies. The New York affiliated companies have placed a copy of the bust in a niche in the corridor of the offices at 4 Irving Place. Japan and France have also purchased copies. Mrs. Edison recognized the symbolism of a life time in the work and paid the artist a visit, taking the sculptor’s own copy home in her car with her, together with a desk-size replica.

Walter Russell was for the first part of his life a portrait painter, noted especially for his portraits of children. He has painted the portraits of all the children of the late Theodore Roosevelt and of many notables all over the country. Among his famous adult portraits in oil and sculpture are Hudson Maxim, Sir Thomas Lipton, Thomas J. Watson, Cass Gilbert, Ossip Gabrilowitsch, Dr. H.H. Sheldon, Eva LaGallienne and the official sculptured portraits of Mark Twain.

He is now at work upon a monumental Memorial to Mark Twain in which there are seven groups of the author’s sculptured characters emanating from the author as the central figure. The first group of twenty-six figures will be dedicated on Nov. 30, 1935, on the centennial Clemens’ birth.

Mr. Russell never touched clay until he was fifty years of age. The change of medium came suddenly, like a rebirth, he says, but since the change he has almost abandoned painting.

Edison Disses Einstein (1931)

Harvey Firestone:
“What do you think of the Einstein theory, Mr. Edison?”

Thomas Edison:
“I don’t think anything of Einstein’s theory because I can’t understand it!”

HISTORICAL NOTE: Thomas Edison, a great mind in the scientific world, did believe Walter Russell’s Cosmogony regarding the spiritually controlled electric universe and its relation to gravitation and magnetism, also he believed on his divine source of knowledge. During the months of close association with Mr. Edison, as his official sculptor in 1927, Walter Russell thoroughly convicted him of the unnatural concept of electricity, form which the untrue Coulomb Law arose, and of magnetism, which is entirely misconceived by modern science. Edison deeply regretted that his advanced age prevented him from helping to reverse present day concepts, for it would be the beginning of a hard fight.

NOTE: None of these shapes are moving, expanding, contracting, or bending.

“Stillness never can be motion, or become motion, but it can appear to be. Motion merely seems, but stillness always is. The universal equilibrium can never be other than its own balance but it can seem to be. The illusion which is motion springs from stillness and returns to stillness. This is a universe of rest.” ~ Walter Russell
