Premier League: Southampton 1 Man United 1
Southampton Scorer: J. Vestergaard (58')
Man United Scorer: D. James (10')

Daniel James got himself on the scoresheet for the third time in four matches, but the day ended in frustrating fashion as Manchester United were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw by 10-man Southampton on Saturday lunchtime.

James opened the scoring after 10 minutes with a sublime effort which flew past Saints goalkeeper Angus Gunn. Jannik Vestegaard equalised just before the hour-mark and despite Kevin Danso seeing red for a second bookable offence with just under 20 minutes remaining, the Reds couldn’t find a winner despite a raft of late chances.

The hosts threatened early on, putting pressure on centre-backs Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire at every opportunity but it was the Reds who took an early lead.

Scott McTominay did well to not only maintain possession in the middle but to find James in space on the left with an excellent pass. The Wales international cut inside, having used Mata’s clever overlapping run as a decoy, and thundered a fierce shot beyond Angus Gunn to score his third league goal in four appearances.

It took until just before the hour-mark for David De Gea to be tested, the Spaniard saving well from a near-post header from Saints’ first corner of the match. But seconds later Vestegaard nodded home from Boufal’s cross to level for the home side.

With 17 minutes left to play, Danso received his marching orders from referee Mike Dean - a second bookable offence for a late tackle on McTominay after a shirt pull on Pereira in the first half.

The Reds continued to pile on the pressure as Rashford saw his low shot kept out and substitute Mason Greenwood saw his excellent curling effort kept out by Gunn ensuring the points were shared.

Premier League: Man United 1 Leicester 0
Man United Scorer: M. Rashford (PEN 8')

Ice-cool Marcus Rashford scored from the spot to earn a 1-0 win for Manchester United against Leicester City at Old Trafford.

It was a nervous nail-biter as United finally came through a tough assignment to get back to winning ways in the Premier League, with Rashford’s eighth-minute spot-kick giving the Reds their first win since the opening day of the season against Chelsea.

It was a breathless start to the match with both sides in attack mode.

Important 3 points! Thanks to all United fans for coming for the match @harrysbarsg (Boat Quay)!

Man United Scorer: M. Greenwood (73')

Mason Greenwood blasted himself into the Manchester United history books as he opened his senior goal account with a Europa League winner against FC Astana at Old Trafford

The Bradford-born forward won’t be 18 for another 12 days and his excellently finished 73rd-minute goal on his senior starting debut made him the club’s youngest ever scorer in Europe.

What a night for the young reds! Do join us for the match against West Ham this Sunday @harrysbarsg (Boat Quay)!

Date: 22nd Sep 2019
Time: Kickoff @ 9PM
Venue: Harry's Bar @ Boat Quay

Normal service resumed at Manchester United after ousting Leicester City, but the Premier League grind continues. As Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side aims to pick up back-to-back wins for the first time this season, the intimidating West Ham United lie in their path.

The London Stadium won’t be at all sympathetic to their struggles, with Manuel Pellegrini’s side desperate to get back to winning ways themselves. While United did look a much stronger unit keeping a clean-sheet against Leicester, the Hammers attack is a different beast altogether.

Come down to @HarrysBarsg @ Boat Quay (28 Boat Quay, Level 2) this Sunday night and show your support for the Reds!! GGMU!!

Premier League: West Ham 2 Man United 0
West Ham: A. Yarmolenko (44'), A. Cresswell (84')

Manchester United suffered a disappointing 2-0 defeat to West Ham United in Sunday’s Premier League clash.

The Hammers’ goals came courtesy of Andriy Yarmolenko’s superb first-half strike and Aaron Cresswell’s outstanding free-kick in the second period, which ensured the hosts took all three points at the London Stadium.

Disappointed with the lost, let's focus on next game. Thanks to all United fans for coming to @harrysbarsg Boat Quay!

Carabao Cup: Man United 1* Rochdale 1
*Man United wins 5-3 thru penalty shoot-out.
Man United Scorer: M. Greenwood (68')
Rochdale Scorer: L. Matheson (76')

Sergio Romero took centre stage to help Manchester United avoid a Carabao Cup shock as the Reds keeper broke Rochdale’s hearts in a penalty shoot-out.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side were taken to a nerve-jangling finale after the third-round tie ended 1-1.

Mason Greenwood scored his second goal in a week in normal time only for his second-half effort to be cancelled out by 16-year-old Luke Matheson. However, United’s Argentinian goalkeeper was the hero as he saved the League One side’s second penalty, taken by Jimmy Keohane, of the dramatic spot-kick contest.

We are thru to the 4th round of Carabao Cup vs Chelsea!

Premier League: Man United 1 Arsenal 1
Man United: S. McTominay (45')
Arsenal: P. Aubameyang (58')

Manchester United were held to a draw against Arsenal at Old Trafford, a result that stalled a chance for the Reds to rise significantly up the Premier League table.

Scott McTominay gave us a first half lead before the interval with a thunderous drive, but it failed to knock the stuffing out of Unai Emery’s side, who launched a reply in the second 45 minutes when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang levelled with an equaliser, ruled in the Gunners striker’s favour by VAR after being flagged offside.

UEFA Europa League: AZ Alkmaar 0 Man United 0

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Manchester United were forced to settle for a point in The Hague on Thursday evening, as the Reds played out a goalless draw with AZ Alkmaar.

In a game short of clear-cut chances, United's best opportunity arrived during the first half, when Mason Greenwood's close-range attempt was well blocked. Jesse Lingard went close in the final 10 minutes, but a point was an appropriate result in a tight contest between two well-matched teams.

AZ themselves had several impressive efforts, but David De Gea straightforwardly repelled all those on target, as the Reds kept a first clean sheet for 11 away matches.

It leaves United tied on points at the top of Group L with Partizan Belgrade, who earned an away win in Kazakhstan earlier in the day by beating FC Astana 2-1.
