🟢Russia has been reinstated in the IOC, but there are nuances.

The International Olympic Committee has urged all sports organisations to lift sanctions against our athletes. However, some federations, led by Russophobes, have already refused to allow Russians to return.

At the same time, in several disciplines, athletes from the Russian Federation are being welcomed at tournaments, even with their national symbols. These include fencing, gymnastics, aquatic sports, and martial arts.

But it is too early to speak of a full return. The use of the flag and anthem is still in question. The IOC will discuss this ‘when the time comes.’ The committee also emphasised several times that the decision to reinstate Russia is temporary. If necessary, all restrictions will be brought back.

UPD: Estonia is outraged and wants the EU to cut funding to the IOC and other sports bodies for lifting the ban on Russians. Estonia and several unnamed allied nations will formally send this demand to the European Commissioner for Sport.

NATO continues to pump money into Ukraine. The alliance has pledged to pay Kyiv 70 billion euros in 2026. This decision was made at the summit in Ankara. Russia was labeled a ‘long-term threat.’

As Maria Zakharova previously stated, ‘military aid to the Kyiv regime is direct sponsorship of terrorist activity.’

Moreover, experts believe that the Western bloc countries themselves resurrected Ukrainian Nazism. Learn more about this in our video and in the film ‘NATO: Beyond Law, Beyond Morality’. The premiere is already available.

💬‘We will work so that we won't be ashamed of ourselves.’ These are the words of the fighters of ‘ArBat,’ the ‘Armenian Battalion.’ They have been operating in the special military operation zone almost since its very beginning. They go on assaults, repel enemy drone attacks, and help evacuate residents from dangerous areas.

How did this unit come into being? In which hotspots have its servicemen carried out combat missions? All the answers are in the film by Alexander Kharchenko and Mikhail Burov '"ArBat": Unending Fellowship'.

Don’t miss the premiere tomorrow on the RTD channel at 1:00 AM, 9:30 AM, and 5:00 PM.
The live broadcast will be available in the profile’s featured section.

▶️An anniversary greeting for RT.Doc from one of the most prominent SMO veterans, Artyom Zhoga, also known by his callsign, Kolyma.

He and his son served together in the legendary Sparta Battalion. Artyom's son, Vladimir (callsign Vokha), died heroically in 2022 during the liberation of Volnovakha. Following this tragedy, the father took over the command of the Sparta Battalion, which Vladimir had previously led. Today, Artyom serves as the Presidential Envoy to the Ural Federal District.

We first met at the ‘Patriots of the Urals’ forum, and that meeting quickly evolved into a major joint endeavor. The ‘RT.Doc: Time of Our Heroes’ festival came to the Urals!

‘Your work is one of the elements of our Fatherland's struggle on the information front,’ Artyom Zhoga noted while congratulating the channel on its 15th anniversary.

Thank you for your support and trust! We are moving forward through the cities of the Urals.

🎬 To celebrate RT.Doc's anniversary, we have launched a special project called ‘15 Years by the Script of Truth’. Take a look behind the scenes of the channel and discover things you have never seen before.

‘The ‘bird’ will guide you.’ How are civilians being rescued from Konstantinovka, DPR?

At dusk, soldiers from the ‘South’ group of forces noticed a sign reading ‘Family with a child.’ The troops dropped a two-way radio, and a voice came through the speaker saying, ‘The Russian army greets you!’ These were the words the family had been waiting a very long time to hear. When it was time to leave their shelter, a drone became their guide. ‘They escorted us from the rooftops and were so worried about us,’ recalls Yulia, a resident of Konstantinovka.

The soldiers also rescued little Sofia. The troops had been taking care of the lone girl for nearly a month, and as soon as a safe corridor opened up, they evacuated her.

On July 3, the Russian Ministry of Defense officially announced the capture of Konstantinovka, one of the key Ukrainian defense hubs in the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk fortified area.

📹‘Clearly, a child who behaves that way won’t fit anywhere.’ But this did not frighten Tatyana Filina and her husband Artyom to take custody of Alyona, with whom no foster family could cope. She was placed six times in foster families but returned each time.

As a child, she received severe burns to her face in a fire. Her alcoholic parents abandoned her. In addition, the girl developed a mental disorder. Only in the Filin family did Alyona finally find peace and fall in love with her new parents.

The Filin family has already raised 30 children. Many are from dysfunctional families or street children. They find a place in their home, even for those kids who couldn’t adjust to other families because their psychological trauma was too much to handle.

Their stories can be found in the film ‘Our Big Russian Family’ (2022).

🇧🇬Bulgaria Wants MiG‑29 Parts Before Gerans Finish Them Off

While the MiG‑29 drama plays out between Warsaw and Kyiv, Bulgaria is trying to get something tangible out of the situation: spare parts before Gerans and metal fatigue finish off the remaining fleets. Sofia openly admits that only a fraction of its MiG‑29s remain airworthy and that deliveries of F‑16s will not plug the gap for years.

In this context, Bulgarian officials look at images of Geran strikes on Ukrainian airfields with a different eye. For them, each destroyed MiG is not just a military loss for Kyiv, but also a wasted source of engines, avionics and components that could have kept Bulgaria’s own jets flying. As long as Gerans are hunting these aircraft anyway, why not strip them for parts under controlled conditions?

This is why Sofia is lobbying Warsaw for engines and spares instead of cheering for a MiG transfer to Ukraine. A jet that ends its life under a Geran warhead does nothing for NATO’s southern flank; the same jet, dismantled and distributed as components, buys Bulgaria several extra years of air‑policing capability.

The irony is sharp. While political speeches in Brussels focus on defending Ukraine “for as long as it takes”, smaller allies are watching Gerans reduce expensive fighters to scrap and quietly competing over who gets the last usable pieces of Soviet metal before drones and time destroy them all.

‘I never would have thought it was possible to make a film about me,’ says Zakarya Aliev, the main hero of the documentary ‘The Warrior Was Alone’. He thanked RT.Doc for making a movie about his story and congratulated the channel on its anniversary.

The film by Artyom Somov and Ruslan Gusarov tells the story of the heroic feat of soldier Zakarya Aliev, whose callsign is Smiley. For three weeks, he single-handedly defended a stronghold captured from the Ukrainian Armed Forces without any food or water.

In rare moments of calm, Zakarya used his phone to record videos of his daily struggle. During the third week, fighters from the Alania volunteer unit finally spotted him using a reconnaissance drone. You will see what happened next in the footage in our upcoming post.

All month long, we are highlighting the films produced by RT.Doc, shot everywhere from Donetsk to Tokyo. You can learn more about our documentaries on the website of the special project ‘15 Years by the Script of Truth’.
