Within just a few hours of its premiere, the film "Donbass: I'm Alive!" garnered over two million views.

Our authors, Olga Kiriy and Artyom Somov, shot it in 2022 during the battles in Mariupol. The city was on fire. Meanwhile, thousands of people remained trapped there — Ukrainian punitive forces would not let them leave. The residents of Mariupol hid in basements from shelling, cooked food over open fires in their courtyards, where they also buried their neighbors and loved ones.

The film was seen around the world. Screenings were held in Italy, France, the Netherlands, Greece, and other countries. It has been translated into eight languages. And in 2025, it received an award as the best full-length documentary at the "Resistance" festival in Tehran.

In Tibet, wishes are made in a special way.

📹Astrakhan Region is where the Volga River flows into the Caspian Sea.

The mix of fresh and sea water creates a unique ecosystem, perfectly suited to sturgeon. Sean Thomas visits a sturgeon farm to discover how these fish are cultivated. Here, the conditions closely replicate their natural habitat: the fish are fed the same diet as they would find in the wild, and their most prized product – black caviar – is harvested without causing them harm.

Sean learns some of the trade secrets behind this delicacy at a caviar factory. He also discovers what makes caviar uniquely beneficial for health.

But sturgeon have more to offer than just caviar. Even the parts of the fish that are usually thrown away are given a second life here: the scales and bones are used to extract collagen for food supplements, medical products, skincare treatments, and even innovative edible packaging.

A hero who refuses to give up and never lets others lose heart.

SMO veteran Rishat Fauzetdinov from Bashkiria fought from the very first days of the special military operation. After suffering a severe injury, his military service came to an end, but his desire to help his own people remained.

After returning home, Rishat turned to horse breeding. His goal is to create an equine therapy program for former SMO participants. He believes that spending time with horses can help veterans recover faster, adjust to civilian life, and cope with the aftereffects of trauma.

Rishat's story will be featured in one of the episodes of the new project ‘TAKE A PUNCH! With Nikolay Valuev’, a joint production by RT.Doc and State Duma deputy Nikolay Valuev.

ISS crew commander Pyotr Dubrov congratulated Russians on Tiger Day. The cosmonaut was born in Khabarovsk Krai, one of Russia’s 'tiger regions'. So he knows well how important it is to protect the predator’s habitat. Even the current crew’s call sign is 'Tigris'.

Consequently, there’s widespread suffering compounded by California’s ongoing struggle to regulate housing costs.

Homelessness affects people from diverse backgrounds, whether it is inherited poverty or individuals who were once wealthy. Humanitarian organisations work hard to assist people with accommodation, yet their efforts fall short amidst the overwhelming need. Is there a solution to this crisis?

📹A Bear’s Tale

Bear Mansur was raised by Russian pilots. They found him at an airfield, got him out and wanted to release him into the wild. But it was too late. The animal got used to people.

The aviators hoped to give the animal to a nature reserve, but it almost ended tragically. Once the men failed to visit their pet and decided to make an enquiry. They asked the carrier where the animal had been taken, reached that place and found out that hunters had their dogs training on Mansur. Once realized this, they immediately set off to rescue their bear.

Horrible pages of history.

For three centuries, the Senegalese island of Gorée was a transit point for millions of enslaved Africans. Europeans and Americans forcibly brought them here from the mainland before sending them into slavery in the holds of ships.
