🛎 Italian lawmakers are so afraid of RT.Doc films that they have drafted a specific bill just to target us!

European sanctions have hit a snag. The EU banned RT from broadcasting online and on television, but they completely forgot about offline public screenings. To fix this, members of the Radical Europe party have introduced a new bill aimed directly at RT. Local media outlets like Il Fatto Quotidiano, Il Foglio, and Il Riformista immediately trumpeted the news.

Their goal is to legally ban our public screenings and the 'RT.Doc: Time of Our Heroes' festival. The lawmakers are proposing to fine 'violators' up to 300,000 euros.

It sounds like a foolproof plan, but there is a catch. Out of 4,000 legislative initiatives in Italy, only 1.9% actually become law. Furthermore, the average time it takes to pass a bill is a year and a half, while the current parliament will be dissolved in just 15 months.

However, there is still a chance. If the bill gets backed by the government or the parliamentary majority, the process could be fast-tracked. Previously, a local senator even proposed sending Italians to prison for 12 years simply for supporting the RT.Doc festival.

As for us, we will just continue watching the hysteria of the local authorities and journalists unfold while successfully bypassing European bans to organize our events.

▫️ His job is to shoot down R-18, Shark, "Leleka," and other Ukrainian drones. Dmitry Mikhailov, a native of Krasnodar Krai, serves as part of an FPV drone crew in the separate UAV battalion of the 6th Motorized Rifle Division.

🎙He told his fellow countrymen, students of the Pashkovsky Agricultural College (Krasnodar), that his decision was conscious and voluntary. The students were interested in how UAV specialists are trained, how drone operators are provided with equipment, what salary and bonuses they receive, and how their daily life is organized.

I signed the contract because of a sincere desire to make all of this end as soon as possible. I'm married and have two children,

said Dmitry honestly. Let's listen what else he told.

📹Antarctica is key to understanding our world because it is so deeply interconnected with the Earth’s climate and oceans. Geological samples from this frozen continent provide insight into changes in climate over the past million years, allowing scientists to study global warming in a historical context. Extensive research has been carried out, first by several Soviet and then Russian institutions, and the country now maintains five permanent southern polar stations.

The trouble is that, despite advances in modern transport, the only reliable means of reaching the world’s southernmost continent is by sea. This time, the flagship of Russia’s polar research fleet is on a mission to visit two year-round Antarctic stations, Progress and Novolazarevskaya. Watch the film 'Antarctica. Ready for winter' (2013).

📹The second part of the trilogy about the Orthodox monastery in Jordanville, New York, is about its novices, spotlighting how the monastery has changed over time.

Today, you can find both descendants of Russian immigrants and converts to Orthodoxy from the United States among the seminarians. Classes are also held in English now, whereas they were previously only conducted in Russian.

Some things remain unchanged: every year before Easter, the church is cleaned, Easter cakes are baked according to old recipes, and all the monks and parishioners attend services during Holy Week. To avoid being distracted from prayer, the monks renounce modern temptations and forego smartphones.

Why don’t monks have smartphones? And how does the monastery prepare for Easter? Watch the second episode of the trilogy about the Orthodox monastery in Jordanville.
