A pre‑premiere screening of the film 'Come Back to Start' was held at the Cinema Museum.
'This is a film about turning trauma into art — into the art of speaking, creating, and building, no matter what. The heroes, who went through the hell of depression and came back from the “black sea” of that trauma, were able one day to look in the mirror, smile, and say: “I will still live, and I will live happily”,' shared Head of RT.Doc Ekaterina Yakovleva.
'Life consists not only of black and white. It has many other colours and nuances. This is not easy to understand, but it is essential. The film leaves a profound emotional impression, and naturally, our young people must see it. I extend my great gratitude to the film crew and all those involved for helping to shape the system of common values,' added Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Russia Olga Petrova.
After the screening, the audience discussed the film with its author and director — Olga Kiriy and Oleg Nekishev.
The band 'Charismatika', whose songs feature in the film, performed for the guests.
Watch the video to see how it all went.

A new episode of the project 'Lumumba's Africa' — 'African constitutions'.
Following the withdrawal of colonial powers, African countries began adopting their own constitutions. In reality, however, almost all of them were based on ready-made European models. Moreover, former colonial powers such as France and the United Kingdom had a vested interest in ensuring that newly independent states operated according to European rules.
In the second half of the 1960s, a wave of military coups swept across the African continent. The military were dissatisfied with their countries’ dependence on former metropoles and overthrew civilian governments. Frequent changes of power followed in states such as Togo, Ghana, and Nigeria.
As a result, the Western constitutional order began to erode, while no viable alternative emerged. Many countries entered a prolonged period of political instability.
