✌️🟢Step 2: - After Typing ‘Hlookup’ start the function by using any one from below two sub-steps: -
(i) Press Start bracket ‘(‘.
OR
(ii) You can press ‘Tab’ button.
🤟🟣Step 3: - Select ‘Lookup Value in Cell C12’ as given in the syntax.

(Lookup Value is the value for which you want to find the result and based on this you can find the result from Table Array).
✌️✌️🟢Step 4: - After selecting ‘Lookup Value in cell C12, select ‘Table Array from Cell C8 to M9’ from which you want to find the results of ‘lookup value’.
🤟✌️🟣Step 5: - After selecting Table array please put koma (,) and the third field will reflect ‘Row_Index_Num’ means from which row you want to find the results, Type number 2 here.

(Explanation: - In this problem we have two rows in which data exist, and we want to find the Discount Percentage which is lying on 2nd row that is why we typed 2 here)
🤟🤟🟣Step 6: - After selecting ‘Row_Index_Num’ the fourth field will reflect ‘Range_lookup ‘ (1 for approximate match --> ‘True’ and 0 is for Exact Match --> ‘False’), will select 1 for Approximate Match.
🤟✌️✌️🟣Step 7: - After selecting 1, close the brackets ‘)’ and press ‘Enter’ or ‘Tab’.

You can see the yellow highlighted Cell C13 Discount Percentage has come out of the Table A which is given below of 0 (Zero) Sale Value. As you can see, we are searching for discount percentage of Sale value 50 but 50 is not given in Table A, As this is Approximate Match that is why if same sale value is not given then system will find the lower nearest results based on approximation. As you can see in below examples: -

1. In front of 50 the percentage is 0% which is of Sale Value 0.
2. In front of 133 the percentage is 5% which is of Sale Value 100.
3. In front of 345 the percentage is 15% which is of Sale Value 300.

But in below examples results are same as given in Table A: -
1. In front of 700 the percentage is 35% which is of Sale Value 700.
2. In front of 800 the percentage is 40% which is of Sale Value 800.
