DXY (US Dollar Currency Index) has spiked up after the FED FOMC Minutes news of a possible further rate hike in Sept. It's again moving towards the previous ATH where is the next resistance & previously bounced back.

Meanwhile, USDT D has spiked up at the same time currently near the FIB resistance point at 6.65%. If it breaks up, the next resistance is at 6.96% - 7.09%. Unfortunately, USDT D had MA Cross (50 crossing 200) in 2 hrs time frame which is likely to spike up further.

As the crypto market has a negative co-relation with DXY & USDT D, that's why there was a mass sell-off due to a sudden spike of DXY & USDT D due to rate hike news.

BTC has a strong support at 20,800. If that support breaks, it has long-term daily support at 18,124. On the other hand, most of the ALTS are at local fib support while BTC D is a bit downtrend. So If we see DXY & USDT D slightly downtrend, ALTS might bounce back. But if DXY & USDT D breaks the resistance & BTC D turns upwards, ALTs might suffer a further downtrend followed by moving towards the next support.

For now, it's better to avoid entering new trades (both long & short) & see the reaction of DXY & USDT D at resistance. If it drops from resistance, the market will bounce back immediately, alternatively, if it breaks resistance, we will see a further downtrend.
