The Search Update

We successfully reached the breeder, Lisa of Just C Thoroughbreds, who generously shared extensive history on Satoshi’s Daemon, including over 50 preserved photos from 2009–2012, documenting her journey from birth through her racing days. Unfortunately, Lisa confirmed that she never received the horse back after her racing career ended.

However, Lisa will be joining us on an upcoming podcast to share Satoshi’s Daemon’s early history.

We then attempted to contact the trainer, Mr. John Wawak, only to learn that he sadly passed away following a serious car accident years ago. May he rest in peace.

Through continued efforts, we connected with Mr. Wawak’s daughter, Jean, who confirmed that Satoshi’s Daemon is no longer with the family. The last information she had was that the horse was placed with or sold to a woman involved in barrel racing in Mississippi.

At this stage, our strongest lead points to Mississippi’s barrel racing community.

Next Step:
Wanted notices and targeted outreach efforts are now being prepared to help locate Satoshi’s Daemon.
The search continues.
The $Daemon community remains determined.
