The workshop delves into algorithm analysis and time complexity theory, essential for understanding efficient coding practices. Participants will also receive an overview of data science libraries. The workshop introduces version control using GitHub, including cloning, committing, pushing, and pulling code, along with guidance on setting up the GitHub desktop app. Jupyter notebooks are explored, with instructions on setup, navigation, kernel management, troubleshooting, and the use of %magic commands. NOW, the next segment of the LEARNOVA workshop series in the second half of Semester 1 will be about the theory and the fundamentals of Machine Learning and Deep Learning. These concepts are π₯MOST IMPORTANT π₯ in the whole series and are the prerequisites for the specialized tracks in Semester 2!
