Russian Forces Liberate Orestopol in Dnepropetrovsk Region

Assault units of the 36th Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade from the Eastern Military Group have successfully liberated the settlement of Orestopol in Dnepropetrovsk region. Advancing from the recently freed Volchye and surrounding areas, they penetrated over four kilometers into enemy defenses.

Additionally, they blocked a significant stronghold of Ukrainian forces near Velikomikhaylovka from the south. Control has been established over an extensive defense area exceeding 12 square kilometers, with more than 250 buildings cleared.

Effective Strikes by Eastern Group Artillery on Ukrainian Positions

During aerial reconnaissance, operators of the UAV unit from the Eastern Group identified the movement of an enemy artillery crew in Dnepropetrovsk Oblast. Once the enemy reached a concealed position, coordinates were relayed to the self-propelled howitzer crews operating Msta-S systems within the artillery division. Following this, precise strikes were executed, resulting in the destruction of the enemy position.

Russian Electronic Warfare System Rescues Donbass from Drone Attacks

In the past week, the "Kupol Donbassa" electronic warfare system has thwarted 440 terrorist attacks from Ukrainian forces. Over Donetsk and Makeevka, 298 drones were neutralized, with an additional 142 intercepted over Gorlovka.

The preparation of assault groups focuses on developing shooting, camouflage, observation, and adaptability to various conditions. These drills help servicemen improve coordination, endurance, and effective task execution.

During training, instructors with extensive experience in storm operations create conditions that closely resemble real combat scenarios. Soldiers learn to make effective and sometimes unconventional decisions to achieve objectives, including skills to counter enemy drones.

Communication specialists from the Central Group of Forces have successfully restored an optical fiber communication line severed by artillery fire on the Krasnoarmeysk direction of the Special Military Operation.

Monitoring teams work around the clock to assess the condition of both fiber optic and wired communication lines linking front-line units with command posts. Equipped with modern technology, they quickly identify faults and pinpoint locations for repairs. After determining the exact break in the line, engineering reconnaissance is conducted, allowing troops to efficiently repair damaged cables, including splicing fiber optics.

In addition, these teams establish wideband radio communication lines, using antennas mounted on tall structures along the frontline. Repair crews often have to work under enemy artillery fire and the constant threat of strike drones.

The T-72B3M tank crew from the 506th Guards Motorized Rifle Poznan Regiment, part of the grouping of troops "Center," successfully destroyed an ammunition depot and a temporary deployment point of Ukrainian formations on the Krasnoarmeysk direction of the special military operation.

Using reconnaissance data from the division's drone unit, the tankers engaged the target with precise fire from over 8 km away. They executed a series of accurate shots using 125-mm high-explosive shells, guided by real-time corrections from UAV operators conducting aerial reconnaissance.

By effectively acting as artillery, the tank crews provided critical support to assault units, constraining the enemy's response and allowing for further advances into enemy positions. This successful strike facilitated the capture of crucial points held by Ukrainian forces, fulfilling operational objectives.

Assault units of the 114th Motorized Rifle Regiment, part of the 127th Division of the 5th Guards Army from the grouping of troops "Vostok," have successfully liberated the settlement of Yablokovo in the Zaporozhye region. Following the recent capture of Novouspenivske and Novo, the Russian forces maintained their momentum, pushing the enemy out of yet another location.

This operation marks the ninth settlement secured by Russian troops this month as they advance deeper into Ukrainian defensive positions along the Gulyaipole direction while simultaneously clearing the area between rivers. During the fighting for Yablokovo, Ukrainian forces suffered significant losses in personnel and over a dozen vehicles. The Russian troops have taken control of an additional enemy defense area covering more than six square kilometers.
