MHT CET Information

➭ Translation in Marathi

➭ Translation in Hindi

(Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) is an important entrance exam held in Maharashtra for admission into engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture courses.

✅ Exam Pattern:

・1. Physics and Chemistry (Group 1):

Total 50 questions (25 for each subject)

100 marks (2 marks for each question)

No negative marking

・2. Mathematics (Group 2) or Biology (Group 3):

50 questions for Mathematics

For Biology, 50 questions in Zoology and Botany (25 for each subject)

2 marks for each question in Mathematics and 1 mark for each question in Biology

✅ Syllabus: The MHT CET syllabus is mainly based on the Maharashtra Board syllabus of 11th and 12th standards, with more focus on the 12th standard syllabus.

✅ Eligibility:

・The candidate must have passed 12th std with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology.

・45% marks are required (for the open category) or 40% (for the reserved category).

✅ Application Process:

・The application for MHT CET must be done online.

・The application process requires entering personal details, educational details, and uploading documents.

✅ Preparation Tips:

・Thoroughly study NCERT and Maharashtra Board textbooks.

・Understand the core concepts of each subject, especially in Physics and Mathematics.

・Solve daily mock tests and previous years' question papers.

✅ Important Dates: The MHT CET exam is usually held around May-June every year. The application process starts a few months prior.

・After the MHT CET result, a merit list is prepared.
