सरकार ने पूर्व स्वास्थ्य सचिव प्रीति सूदन को संघ लोक सेवा आयोग का अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया है। वह मनोज सोनी का स्थान लेंगी। प्रीति सूदन वर्तमान में UPSC की सदस्य हैं और 1983 बैच की आंध्र प्रदेश कैडर की आईएएस अधिकारी हैं।
