Confirmation bias in solving questions
وحدة من اكثر المشاكل الي تواجه الطلبة عند حل الاسئلة هي توقع الاجابة الصحيحة و تفضيلها بناء على معرفة مسبقة بان الاجابة سوف تكون ضمن موضوع معين
خل ناخذ مثال على هذا الشيء:
لنفرض انه طالب معين ديحل اسئلة عن امراض الجهاز التنفسي و هاي الاسئلة مقسمة حسب المواضيع والامراض الخاصة بهذا الجهاز
هذا حيخلي الطالب دائما يفكر بانه الاجابة يجب ان تكون مرض تنفسي لكل حالة يواجهها عند حل الاسئلة و يهمل بقية الاجابات لامراض غير تنفسية ممكن ان تكون اعراضها متشابهة مع بعض امراض الجهاز التنفسي
هذا التحيز يزداد اكثر واكثر في حال كون الاسئلة مقسمة حسب مواضيع معينة
فعند حل الطالب مجموعة من الاسئلة خاصة بال bronchiectasis فسوف يعتبر مقدما بان اي حالة يواجهها في الاسئلة تشخيصها هو هذا المرض بدون التمعن بتفاصيل الحالة و محاولة تفريقها تشخيصيا من الاحتمالات الاخرى المتشابهة في الاعراض
هذا التحيز يؤثر على اجابة الطالب في الامتحان الفعلي لان الاسئلة لا تكون مقسمة حسب المواضيع

والاكثر من ذلك هو امكانية انشاء امتحان بالامراض الباطنية والجراحة و الاطفال والنسائية كلها في آن واحد حيث تظهر الاسئلة من مختلف مواضيعها بصورة عشوائية مما يتيح تجربة مماثلة للامتحان الوزاري الشامل ويلغي تماما ال confirmation bias في حل الاسئلة

Tips on how to use our Qbank to prepare for the comprehensive exam
1-Start Early
Our Qbank will encompass +3500 high yield concepts and leaving all of them till exam preparation period will not be the best idea.
A disciplined, focused study routine is the foundation for exam success. Set up a study plan and stick to it.
The length of time you study each day will depend upon how much time you have until your test date.
The best study plan will begin months before your exam, include a trusted test prep resource, and will allow you to take occasional days off.
Even with scheduled down time, the key here is consistency. If you’ll be disciplined to do the daily work, you’ll avoid the stress, anxiety, and unpreparedness that comes with procrastination.
2-Take Notes
Just like the old times, buy a new notebook and start writing notes on the concepts you acquired from the Qbank.
Whether you got the answer right or wrong, it is a good idea to write a note about a new concept and this notebook will be priceless in the exam preparation period.
3-Study the Rationales Carefully
The detailed rationales are the most important part of your QBank and the thing that sets us apart from all other test prep options.
Through these explanations, you’ll be given multiple concepts per question to maximize your study time.
All of these components work together to develop your critical thinking skills and boost your test preparedness.

🔻Creative mind maps:
في الكثير من المواضيع السريرية، هناك خطوات كثيرة من حيث التشخيص والعلاج و هنا يجي دور الخرائط الذهنية و الي تسهللنا هاي الخطوات، تخلينا نفهم الصورة الاشمل للموضوع و تختصر عليكم قراية شرح مطول عنها بالمحاضرات
🔻 Informative tables
من الطرق الي تسهل الدراسة وتسهل الوصول للمعلومات المهمة هو الجداول
فكانت من الاهداف صنع جداول مختلفة
تحتوي على كل الي تحتاجوه عن موضوع معين و جداول للمقارنة بين المواضيع المتشابهة ذات الفروقات الدقيقة مثلا امراض صمامات القلب ومختلف العلامات السريرية لها
🔻Comparative case:
في بعض الاحيان توجد حالات سريرية متشابهة من النظرة الاولى لكنها مختلفة جوهريا من حيث التشخيص او العلاج وهنا يأتي دور ال comparative cases حيث نضع حالتين متشابهتين و نبين الفرق البسيط بينها الذي يتحول الى فرق بالتشخيص او العلاج
🔻 Easy to remember mnemonics:
اكو مواضيع اشكد ما نقراها راح ننساها فبعض الاحيان وجود mnemonics سهلة وحلوة علمود نتذكرها يكون ضروري
🔻 Brain storming:
بعد تلخيص الموضوع واعطاء اهم المعلومات عنه من خلال جدول او خريطة ذهنية حتلكون بعدها سؤال عصف ذهني مختار بعنلية عن هذا الموضوع حتى يثبت المعلومة مباشرة و يطمنكم بانه دتقرون زين
🔻Let’s think:
بعد ما نكمل تلخيص موضوع او عدة مواضيع نضيف سلايد يحتوي على مجموعة من اهم الاسئلة والمفاهيم المتعلقة بمجموعة المواضيع معا
ايضا نحاول اضافة ال tricks الخاصة بهذا الموضوع بهذا السلايد
