Please be informed that the Malaysia Marine Department (MMD) has implemented the Digital Seafarer Identity Document (SID) and updated the validity requirements of the Seafarer’s Record Book (SRB). Kindly take note and ensure compliance accordingly.

Dimaklumkan bahawa Jabatan Laut Malaysia (JLM) telah melaksanakan Dokumen Identiti Pelaut Digital (SID) serta mengemas kini tempoh sah laku Buku Perkhidmatan Pelaut (SRB). Sehubungan itu, semua pihak adalah diminta untuk mengambil maklum dan memastikan pematuhan terhadap ketetapan semasa.

Poll ini bertujuan membantu pihak kami membuat keputusan pelaksanaan kelas fizikal dan online.
Pengagihan kelas dan pengesahan akhir akan dimaklumkan kemudian.

Registration for the BTU class is now open for the following dates:

• ⁠19/01/2026
• ⁠20/01/2026
• ⁠21/01/2026
• ⁠22/01/2026
• ⁠23/01/2026

Kindly ensure that all details provided during registration are accurate, including:

• Full name as per IC
• Seaman ID (SID) as per seaman card
• Discharge Book number
• BT/BTR certificate number

Please note that the BTU certificate will be issued strictly based on the information submitted.
