Let’s watch where the experts of MAI Aerospace Institute hold classes, come up with brilliant ideas, launch satellites and design this Summer School!
Why Moon is so popular? πŸŒ™

πŸ”The Moon is still unknown for us. It has great scientific potential; there are many scientific measurements to be done.
β€œIt has lain virtually undisturbed for the last 4.5 billion years. It is a museum of the history of the solar system” said David Parker, director of human and robotic exploration for the European Space Agency.

The scientific discoveries that await us on the moon will open the veil of mystery of the past, present and future.

πŸ›Έ For many space enthusiasts, Moon exploration and exploitation is necessary if we are to make the next giant step in space: sending people to Mars.

In building and running the International Space Station, humans have learned how to master space close to Earth. It orbits about 400 kilometres above the Earth, says Parker. β€œBy contrast, the moon orbits 400,000 kilometres distant from the Earth, a thousand times farther away. Mastering a hostile environment that distant will require us overcoming all sorts of technological hurdles. Then we will be better armed when we start looking at Mars, which is 400 million kilometres away – a million times farther from Earth than the space station. This is going to be a long process.” 🐌

Now is a golden age for Moon exploration. Let’s make a step into this Era!
Concept of the Space School πŸ’‘

The program is divided into 2 main lines: theory and practice. Every day contains both lines - firstly lectures and then practical classes, meetings with supervisors.

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ« Within the theory line, the students will be given the necessary knowledge on space, Moon and the related technologies. It would help them in the practical line.

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ”¬ Within the practice, each team will develop its own project solution on the given task under the supervision of MAI experts.

Sample tasks:
- How to make a liter of water on the Moon πŸ’§
- How to build a Moon base for living 🏠
- To develop a concept of the Moon Internet πŸ›°
