But when the Philistines
heard about it, they came
spoiling for a fight.

David prayed and God
told him it was okay
to go for the fight.

So they met at a place
called Baal Perazim,
where David and his soldiers
hit them hard, and defeated them!

Then David said,

God has Broken in
upon My Enemies
like a River Bursting a Dam!

and now he finished building.

God gave him success.
God gave him consistency.
God helped him not to give up
or fall out.

One of the things that got him going,
which enabled him to launch forward
and make it,
was that David his father,
had prepared resources which
Solomon needed for the project.
(1 Chronicles 29)

So Solomon "prosperously effected"
the work God had given him.

God has given us “all things that pertain unto life and godliness".
But it comes "through the
KNOWLEDGE of HIM".
