The soldiers plaited
a crown of thorns, and
placed it on Jesus head.

They also clothed Him
in a purple robe.

-----------------------------

Then Pontius Pilate displayed
Him, thus arrayed, in public.

for the Mind of Christ.

The women who followed Jesus!
..
let's try to get this straight:
> There is Mary, mother of Jesus.
..
> Plus 5 other "Marys", in the New Testament.
..
> Including Mary Magdalene.
..
> Mrs. Mary Cleophas.
(aka 'the other Mary').
This Mary, in my view, is COUSIN to Mary the mother of Jesus.
(She is referred to as "Sister" to Mary the mother of Jesus.
Sister may be a wide term referring to close relative, such as, cousin).
They both have the same name, Mary. And they both have sons by the same names, James and Joses.
..
> Mary (Martha's Sis).
> Mary (John Mark's Mum).
> Mary (Greet Mary, Romans 16:6).
..
And then there's Salome.
Though I am not sure, she is said to be Mrs. Zebedee, (mother of Apostle John and Apostle James) Wow!
..
Then there's also Joan.
..
And Susan!
..
.
And probably many others unmentioned!

Women in the Gospel,
are indispensable patronnesses
of God's Work.
