indicates that a 90 year old woman
gave birth to a baby boy!

Mrs. Sarah Abraham, wife of Abraham Terah,
held her very own baby for the first time
since their marriage began many years back
in Mesopotamia.

The couple named their new born son, Isaac,
which means "laughter".

The happy mother testified that God had made
her laugh, and that all who hear it will laugh with her.

Commenting on this miraculous event, author

But No! GOD chose Bethlehem!
Can any good thing come out of Nazareth,

God may have let Jesus be born
in the reign of a good king.
Under the leadership of a
benevolent monarch.
But No! Jesus was born
in the days of Herod.
Herod, a despot, a maniac,
a ruthless murderer.

Divine Ultrasound!

Genesis 16:11 - Hagar is pregnant.
And she's in the desert. There are no hospitals around,
there's no gynecologist to help her out.
..
Instead The Angel of the Lord appears to her by a well on the way to Shur. (She wasn't sure whether it would be a boy or a girl. She wasn't sure about her future).
..
Without ultrasound or any scanning, The Angel informs her
that what is on the inside of her is a boy!
..
God knew what was inside her. He knew what was inside her womb.
God knows what is inside you.
God knows your potential, your gifts, some inner treasure that you carry.
..
Maybe you're carrying a company, or an innovative idea, or a worlwide ministry. Perhaps you're carrying the solution to somebody's problem.
..
You are like Hagar. You don't really fully know what you are carrying.
..
But God's going to tell you.
The Word of God will show you.
..
There is greatness inside you!
..
The Angel not only told Hagar it was a boy,
but gave Hagar the boy's name!
..
God will give it a name. God will give it a destiny.
God will give it purpose. God will give it identity.
..
Hagar did not need to search a book on Baby Names.
She didn't need to Google Name Meanings.
She didn't need to ask her friends or relatives.
..
God cut the work short and gave her the name,
and the reason for the name.
..
Searching for a spouse?
Let God cut the work short and end your search.
..
Making applications for a job?
Let God locate your job in one step.
..
Looking for the right school?
Let the Lord do what He did for Hagar.
..

She called HIS NAME EL ROI.
..
God named for her.
Then she also named for God.
..
She loved because she was first loved.
..
Take care of God's business,
and He will take care of yours.

God: "Hagar, I'll give your baby a name!"
Hagar: "Lord, I'll give YOU a Name!

He is the God who sees!
