¶ Isaiah 53

1
LORD, who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?

2
For he grew up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nor special appearance that we should desire him.

3
He was despised, and rejected by people; a man of sorrows, and familiar with illness; and as one from whom people hide their face. He was despised and we did not value him.

4
Surely he bore our diseases, and took our pains; yet we considered him stricken, and struck down by God, and afflicted.

5
But he was pierced for our transgressions, and he was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. 6 We all like sheep have gone astray. Everyone has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

7
He was oppressed, yet when he was afflicted he did not open his mouth. He was led like a sheep to the slaughter, and like a lamb before its shearer is silent, so he does not open his mouth.

8
In his oppression his justice was taken away. Who will consider his generation? For his life was cut off from the earth. For the transgression of my people he was led to death.

9
And they assigned his grave with the wicked, but with the rich at his death, though he had committed no sin, nor was deceit found in his mouth.

10
Yet the LORD was pleased to crush him and make him ill. Although his soul is made a reparation offering, he will see his offspring, he will prolong his days, and the desire of the LORD will succeed by his hand.

11
After the suffering of his soul he will see light and be satisfied by his knowledge. The righteous one, my servant, will make many righteous, and he will bear their iniquities.

12
Therefore I will divide him a portion with the great, and he will divide the spoil with the strong; because he poured out his soul to death, and he was numbered with transgressors; yet he bore the sins of many, and made intercession for their transgressions.

🩸There is a fountain
filled with blood
Drawn from Emmanuel's veins

Author: William Cowper (1772)

🗣🎵

1
There is a fountain filled with blood
Drawn from Immanuel's veins;
And sinners, plunged beneath that flood,
Lose all their guilty stains:
Lose all their guilty stains,
Lose all their guilty stains;
And sinners, plunged beneath that flood,
Lose all their guilty stains.

2
The dying thief rejoiced to see
That fountain in his day;
And there may I, though vile as he,
Wash all my sins away:
Wash all my sins away,
Wash all my sins away;
And there may I, though vile as he,
Wash all my sins away.

3
Dear dying Lamb, Thy precious blood
Shall never lose its pow'r,
Till all the ransomed Church of God
Be saved, to sin no more:
Be saved, to sin no more,
Be saved, to sin no more;
Till all the ransomed Church of God
Be saved to sin no more.

4
E'er since by faith I saw the stream
Thy flowing wounds supply,
Redeeming love has been my theme,
And shall be till I die:
And shall be till I die,
And shall be till I die;
Redeeming love has been my theme,
And shall be till I die.

5
When this poor lisping, stamm'ring tongue
Lies silent in the grave,
Then in a nobler, sweeter song
I'll sing Thy pow'r to save:
I'll sing Thy pow'r to save,
I'll sing Thy pow'r to save;
Then in a nobler, sweeter song
I'll sing Thy pow'r to save.

" Uncover the Truth "

🎤 That's the Title
of our REVIEW
Lunch Hour
Preaching Message
Today

📜 In Romans 2:5

Paul describes the heart
of the judgemental person.

It's hard and impenitent.

°

Such a heart will be rewarded
with wrath, in the day when
God reveals his righteous
judgment.

🙏

Father, soften my heart.
Help me change my mind
when I am not in the truth.

Amen

Genesis 35:18b

... she called his name Benoni:

but his father

called him Benjamin.

🧔‍♂️
In the middle of his trials, the Patriarch Job,
said something about God:

Job was looking every where for God.

On the left hand,
where He works,
but I cannot see Him:

He hides Himself
on the right hand,
that I cannot see him:
(Job 23:9)

👀

God works on the left hand!

The left hand is normally the weak hand.
(If your left hand is your stronger hand,
then your left hand IS your right hand!)

°

God's Strength is made perfect
in weakness.
(2 Corinthians 12:9)

You thought God was right-handed.
God is actually left-handed.

📜
In Genesis 35,
Benjamin is the son of the right hand.

When God uses man,
man becomes God’s right hand.

GOD the Son, became a man.
Finished His work, and sat at the
right hand of GOD the Father.

The LORD said unto my Lord,
Sit thou at my right hand,
until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
(Psalm 110:1 )

....................................................

There's more:

🔹️
Benjamin is the son of the right hand.

It actually points to Jesus Christ,
The Son of God's Right Hand,
His Beloved Son.

🔹️
Benjamin points to Leadership.

Although last born of Jacob's 12 sons,
he actually became first.

▫️
The first ever King of Israel, Saul,
was from the tribe of Benjamin.
▫️
The foremost Apostle
of the New Testament, Paul,
was from the tribe of Benjamin.

👑
Both examples show that
Leadership should actually point to God!

Leadership should not point to itself.

Leadership is deputized and authorized by God,
for His Purpose.

°
GOD the Father gave JESUS, a name
that IS ABOVE EVERY NAME!

that at the Name of Jesus, every knee
should bow, and every tongue confess,
that HE is the LEADER.

To the GLORY of GOD the FATHER.

(Philippians 2:9)

Psalm 46:10

Be still,

and know

that I am God:

I will be exalted
among the heathen,
I will be exalted in the earth.
