In Luke 24
Jesus had risen
from the dead!



🙍🏻‍♀🙆🏻‍♀🙇🏻‍♀
The women were early
at the grave.
Two Angels told them
that Jesus was alive!



💁🏻‍♀💁🏻🙋🏼‍♀
They came back to the disciples
and gave them the news.


🙅🏻‍♂🤷🏻‍♂🤦🏻‍♂
The disciples did not
believe!

☁️☁️
🚶🏻‍♀🚶🏻 🕍
Two of them infact
made a decision
to leave Jerusalem!


🏘💭
They headed west
to Emmaus 12km away.




🌄👋🏼
But somewhere in the middle
of their journey, the risen
Son of God intercepted them!


🧭 🔄
And gave them a COURSE
CORRECTION.





🧔🏻🧑🏻 ⏩ 🕍
By the time He was through,
the two disciples got up
and went right back to
Jerusalem even though
it was already night time.

The women woke up early.
🌅
They had bought spices,
and prepared them,
to anoint the Body of Christ.



🚫🪦
But there was a problem!
A very big problem.


✋🏼🚶🏻‍♀🚶🏿‍♀🚶🏽‍♀🚶🏼‍♀
How would the get access?
How would they get in?
How would they roll away
the stone?

Still, they went in faith.

Meanwhile, Heaven had already
taken care of the problem!



💁🏻‍♀💁🏾‍♀💁🏽‍♀🙋🏼‍♀
The ladies got to the tomb,
and found that the door
was open!


🙆🏻‍♀🙎🏾‍♀🙎🏽‍♀🙆🏼‍♀
But then, to their shock
the body was not there!
No where to be seen!



💪🏼✨
God had helped them with
the stone.
And now they needed to
see Him come through
in this situation.

We are given the qualities
of a good Shepherd.


🤲🏻
He is gentle.
He leads his sheep
to quiet water.
He's not rough and rude
or raspy.


🖐🏻
He heals.
Whatever is broken
in his sheep, he restores.


👋🏼
He protects!
He provides!



🍽
He prepares a table.
A table of blessings
for his people.

And best of all,
He is simply, GOOD!

His GOODNESS
is always available
for his flock.

Good things
every day!
