In 1 Samuel 4
The Philistines
were at war with
Israel.


⚔⚡️
They hit Israel hard,
defeated them and
captured the Ark
of God.



🩺😖🐀🕳
Unfortunately,
for the Philistines,
having the Ark of God
brought them nothing
but problems!



🇮🇱 ⬅️ 🐂🐂🟨✨
Finally after seven months
of pain and plagues,
they returned the Ark
back to the Israelites.

The Ark of God
was a golden box
that had a solid gold cover.
The cover was called
The Mercy Seat.
It had Two Angels called
Cherubim, on either side.

🕊
The Mercy Seat was God's Throne.
God's Presence would dwell
between the Angelic Couple.

It is a picture of Marriage.
Marriage is Two People
who are partners-in-love,
forming a Couple.
That couple can either
be crushed,
or consolidated.

In Luke 12.7
Jesus had a huge audience.
It was such a big crowd,
the people were stepping
on each other as He spoke
to them.



😟😔😞
There were men and women
there, who didn't feel like they
were special, or worthy.
They were just part of the crowd.




🫂🤍
But Jesus went on
to teach them that
they were valuable,
that God who cares
even for sparrows,
cared for them!




🪶🪶🪶🪶🪶🪶
Sparrows are small birds.
But there are big numbers
of them across the world.
🐦
One sparrow would seem so
insignificant.
But with God, it is not!




👥👥 👤 👥
No matter your position,
No matter your station,
No matter your background,
No matter how small an impact
you may seem to make, among
7 billion human 'sparrows',
yet God has numbered every
square inch on your head.



👤🤍
You are valuable.
You are significant.
You are cared for.

His Eye is on the Sparrow.
His Eye is on YOU! 😃

In Luke 24
Jesus had risen
from the dead!



🙍🏻‍♀🙆🏻‍♀🙇🏻‍♀
The women were early
at the grave.
Two Angels told them
that Jesus was alive!



💁🏻‍♀💁🏻🙋🏼‍♀
They came back to the disciples
and gave them the news.


🙅🏻‍♂🤷🏻‍♂🤦🏻‍♂
The disciples did not
believe!

☁️☁️
🚶🏻‍♀🚶🏻 🕍
Two of them infact
made a decision
to leave Jerusalem!


🏘💭
They headed west
to Emmaus 12km away.




🌄👋🏼
But somewhere in the middle
of their journey, the risen
Son of God intercepted them!


🧭 🔄
And gave them a COURSE
CORRECTION.





🧔🏻🧑🏻 ⏩ 🕍
By the time He was through,
the two disciples got up
and went right back to
Jerusalem even though
it was already night time.
