Israel is mightily oppressed
by Jabin King of Canaan.

They cry to God. 😖😫


God speaks
to a mother - Deborah.


She mobilizes Barak,
an Israelite leader.

River Kishon is the scene
of the battle between Israel and the Canaanites.

Things get thick. Canaan is being smacked.

Their general, Sisera, goes AWOL.

°
He makes a run for
Heber's tent.

(Heber is friend of the Canaanites).

°

But another mother
meets Sisera.
And she's Jewish!

🔨
With a tent peg and workman's hammer,
she destroys Sisera.

°

Days later, Sisera's mother
is worried.
Why is he taking so long coming back home?

Little does she realize,
God has crushed
the oppression
that made life miserable
for His people for 20 years!

Now it's over.

SISERA IS SUBDUED!

One for each tribe.


And seventy Palm Trees.


All the souls that came out
of Jacob's loins were
seventy souls.
