How ironical. paradoxical.
👉 That someone is in Zion ...
AND YET: Mourning!
°
Mourning in Zion!
It sounds contradictory.
👑🟣
Zion should be the place of joy,
celebration, praise, victory.

How is it the place of mourning for some? 😢
🟢
But No Matter...
Even if you're mourning in Zion,
grieving, hurting,
broken, wounded.
THE LORD still comes to you.
He still ministers to you.
🟤🟠🟡
He appoints you some good things.
He gives you compensation.
Healing.
Oil. The oil of joy.
Praise. Celebration.

Beauty for ashes 🔥

🔹 No wonder the Scripture says,

and all the girls became drowsy and fell asleep.

was late!
Or that he delayed!

Time was Made Available For Preparation!

Five of the ten girls needed OIL.
°
And apparently,
there was late-night shopping back then.

So as long as the Bridegroom had
Not come,
there was time to go buy some oil.
°
While the bridegroom tarried,
they (went shopping). No.
But they could have!
And should have.
Instead, they all slumbered and slept.
°
🌃
At midnight, there was a loud announcement:
"The Bridegroom is here!"
°
Now it was too late to be going out
for oil!

What's the lesson:

Your Blessing has Not Yet Come ...
... Because You Are Given Time
... To Get Yourself Ready
... For the Blessing!
