In Acts 27

Paul's journey started
in Caesarea.

And then,
at the Port of Sidon
they boarded a Ship
of Adramyttium.

The journey continued
all the way to a stopover
on the Island of Crete.

🌬️
Wind was a key influence.

Opposing winds
Diverting winds

And then a violent east wind *
called Euroclydon

°
Under the impact of this
strong wind,
they lost control,
and "let her drive".

Meanwhile, much effort
was
made
to secure the lifeboat.

Paul & company
were under massive
bombardment by
the monster-storm,
Euroclydon.

They used ropes to hold
the ship together.

Then they lowered the sails.

God protected Paul.

He had given Paul a word
guaranteeing arrival at
the final destination,
Rome.

Everybody on board the ship
was saved.

God kept them from
the Quicksands.

to tighten the ship;

and, were afraid,

incase they should fall into the quicksands,

and lowered the sail,
and so were driven.

Paul was a prisoner

in a ship heading to Rome.

The Lord Jesus had spoken to Paul:

" Have courage Paul,
you have testified
about Me
in Jerusalem,

and likewise you will
bear witness also
at Rome."

🌬️
But during the journey,

a monster wind called Euroclydon

threatened to drag the ship

into the Quicksands.


🌬️ 🌊 👋 ⤵️

THEY WERE ALL SURELY GOING TO PERISH
IN THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA
OFF THE COAST OF NORTH AFRICA.

But it did not happen! 🙏🏻

God had assured Paul
that Paul would make it to Rome.

Paul and all the people in the ship
were protected from the Quicksands!

into the Quicksands of life.
