One day, God held a conversation
with Gideon, calling him
into the ministry.

His first instruction to Gideon
came that same night.

Gideon was to destroy
the altar of the false god, Baal.

Gideon took action and completed
the task by morning the next day.

The townspeople were mad, when
they found out what happened!

They banged on Gideon's door.
But it was Joash who answered.

Joash was Gideon's Dad.
He proceeded to defend Gideon
against the townspeople.

He told them that if Baal was really a god,
then he could defend himself!
