and I WILL PAY YOU."
So the woman took her baby and nursed him.

A Blessing for the Baby

This is one of the most amazing cases
of God's Provision!


All Hebrew baby boys are being killed.

So Moses' Mum hides Moses for three months!

Then, she can't hide him any longer!

So she makes an ark out of papyrus.

She's the second person
to make an ark.
(Noah built a really big one out of wood.

Later, Moses himself will supervise
the making of a wooden and golden ark!)

Like Noah, Mum makes it waterproof,
securing the child from incoming water.

Then she safely places it in the riverbank among the papyrus reeds.


Pharaoh's daughter, the princess, comes along for a swim and a wash.

Princess notices the ark
(let's call the ark - the box).


"Bring me the box!"
Her maid rushes among the reeds,
retrieves the box and wades in the river, placing box before Princess.


Princess opens box!

Uuuuuuuuuu!

Beautiful Baby Boy!

Hebrew!

Hmmmh!

He looks only 3 months old.

"How will I take care of him?"

Moses' sister is standing by.
She's looking out for her kid-bro.

Runs to Princess.

"Ummh, 'scuse me Ma' am,
Can I get you a Hebrew nurse,
to nurse the child for you?"


"Yes, wow, that's just what I need!"


Miriam runs as fast as she can
back home to Mama.

"Mama, Mama!"
She tells her everything.

Princess to Mama: Take this child away,
and nurse it for me,
AND I WILL PAY YOU!!!

Moses' Mother is about to get a salary
for taking care of her own baby!!!!
