David's Government was overthrown!



Absalom, rose up with a spirit of rebellion.

(Just as Lucifer had done in Heaven).


"I will be like the most High"

Absalom's conspiracy was strong,
but his final end was a disaster!


"Pride goes before destruction"

Meanwhile David fled the capital city.


He and his people, made it across the Jordan river.


There in the wilderness, they didn't have provision nor resources!



But God CAN furnish a table in the wilderness.
(Psalm 78:19)



Three friends, Shob, Mach and Barz,
brought refreshments and sustenance,
right there in the wilderness!

For they said, "The people are hungry,
and weary, and thirsty, in the wilderness".
