WITH UNVEILED FACE

beholding as in a mirror
the glory of the Lord,

are transformed
into the same image

from glory to glory,
even as from the Lord, the Spirit.

Moses in the Old Testament,
would actually remove the veil,
whenever he went in to talk with the Lord.
°
In Christ the veil is taken away!
°
It's like we have ACCESS to
The Face of God!
°
Jesus, our Mediator, gave his life on Calvary's Cross.
The VEIL in the Temple,
was torn in two from top to bottom.
°
God rushed out, we can rush in,
and Divinity can now embrace humanity.
°
We can fellowship with The Father!
°
With Open face.
°
Beholding His Glory!
°
And being CHANGED
into the same Image.
°
His Body on the Cross, was like the veil, that was torn
so that, "you who were sometimes alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works," may now be "reconciled in the body of his flesh through death".
(Colossians 1:21-22)
Alienated = Shut out from one's fellowship and intimacy (Thayer)
°
It is as though God has removed the veil from our faces [MET].
°
We realize how awesome Jesus is.
°
As we realize that, we are continually being changed
{the Holy Spirit is continually changing us}
°
to become more and more like Jesus,
°
so that people can see, more and more,
how awesome Jesus is.
°
It is the Spirit of the Lord who does this.
