In Jonah 2:10
The Lord spoke to the fish!
💭🐟
It had something inside
that wasn't supposed
to be there anymore.
🙆🏻♂ 🐟
The fish proceeded
to throw up Jonah.
Out upon the dry land.
😀
What relief for the fish.
But relief for Jonah too.
🌓
He was removed from the
uncomfortable, dark place,
into the light.
And into God’s will.
🤮
Throw it up.
There is something
or someone, you have to
throw up!
And there is some situation
that is throwing you up!
...................................................
Afterwards is peace and purpose.

The fish threw up Jonah!
°
I think the way it happened was ...
°
The Fish is swimming deep in the Mediterranean.
°
God says, "VOMIT!"
°
Fish swims up to the surface near the shore.
°
Fish obeys God's Voice.
°
Expectorates Jonah.
°
The force of the fish expelling Jonah
flings him into the air.
°
In a curved trajectory, Jonah lands
on the shore.
°
His fall is broken by palm trees
and sand.
°
Jonah is glad to be alive.
He is delighted to see daylight
and savour sunshine.
°
He falls into a long sleep.
°
(Inside fish's belly, there was
no way he could sleep, for
three days and nights straight!)
°
Hours later, Jonah awakes
with Nineveh on his mind!
°
The rest is history.
°
°
But wait,
your situation might be bad,
it might be horrible,
uncomfortable,
dark, bleak.
You might be in fishy
circumstances.
°
But when it's all over,
it will propel you into
your destiny and God's
good will for your life.
°
It will push you forward
rather than take you back.
°
You will be propelled,
projected, catapulted,
pushed in the right direction.
Into God’s purpose.
Into fruitful, effective
service.
°
°
The fish is actually God's favour!
The fish will make you fly!
°
°
Thank God that fish hear His Voice!

2 years sorted out in 2 weeks!
°
Recently we preached about a season of 2 years that sometimes passes, before the answer or blessing comes!
°
We looked at Joseph and how he was delayed for 2 more years in prison, after the butler forgot all about him, and did not mention him to Pharoah.
°
In that particular case Joseph had to wait until 2 full years had passed before God arranged a circumstance that caused the butler to remember him.
It was well-timed with Pharaoh's dream.
Joseph was an interpreter of dreams.
So God worked the whole thing out.
°
But fast-forward to the New Testament.
We encounter another 2 year season.
°
This time it's Apostle Paul.
He's been jailed in Caesarea, and the Roman Governor in charge is called Felix.
°
Felix delays Paul's case by two years!
°
Read it in Acts Chapter 24.
In verse 22, and you can see the character of Felix. It is one of procrastination and delay!
°
Recently my own Mom gave me a lesson about acting promptly.
An electronic device she had, needed repair. But I didn't take action. The warranty on the electronic device passed!
And any repair done now, would incur a cost!
°
There's no one like your Mom who knows you so well.
I've had that habit where I postpone things and push things forward instead of acting immediately and promptly.
It was a valuable lesson from a Mother.
I pray that I'll not be like Felix who caused Paul to be in prison for 2 years, when he could have probably settled the case much, much earlier.
°
Maybe you do not have to wait 2 years after all.
Especially if you appeal to the Highest Authority, which according to Daniel Chapter 4 is The Most High God!
°
In Acts Chapter 25, Felix was replaced by a new governor.
°
FESTUS was transferred to Caesarea.
He was the new Governor.
°
Was he also going to cause delay in Pauls destiny?
Paul was destined for Rome.
°
When you catch up with the story, you find that FESTUS is the opposite of Felix!
°
Upon arrival, the new Governor FESTUS took a three days trip to Jerusalem.
He went back to Caesarea after 10 days.
°
The very next day, after returning to Caesarea, from Jerusalem, he picked up Paul's case!
°
So, Felix = 2 years.
And, FESTUS = 2 weeks.
°
In a matter of 2 weeks Paul's case was settled by FESTUS, and he was sentenced to travel to Rome, to a higher court, and to the highest authority: Caesar, who would render the final judgement.
°
Beloved, there is an Authority that is higher than every other authority on Earth. It is the ultimate Authority.
It is the Authority of The Most High God.
°
He is also called in Scripture, the "Highest".
°
The Most High God can OVERRULE.
°
In fact the Bible says in the book of Daniel that, "He does according to His Will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth ... "
°
And no one can stop, or oppose, or challenge Him,
or say to Him, "What are You doing?"
°
Paul took advantage of the hierarchy of authority.
Instead of waiting for the Governor to give the final verdict, Paul APPEALED to a higher authority!
To Caesar himself.
°
In your own situation whether it is financial, or marital, or social, or spiritual, or political, or academic, or in whichever area, God is able to overrule according to His Will, and according to your Appeal!
°
God can overrule a lawyer. God can overrule a doctor. God can overrule sickness and disease. God can overrule a boss. God can overrule a teacher. God can overrule a Governor. God can overrule a husband. God can overrule a wife. God can overrule a parent. God can overrule a chief. God can overrule a Government Official. God can overrule even a king, or queen.
°
The Most High God rules and overrules.
°
If your situation is unsatisfactory to you, or urgent, or pressing, or personal, or needy, and if it is legitimately right in the eyes of God, then you can APPEAL to The Most High God, and watch Him overrule.
Watch Him turn 2 years into 2 weeks.
Amen
