In 1 Samuel 30
there was one
more episode
of trouble,
that David
had to go through
just before
becoming king.



😖💣
At that time,
things didn't look up.

° A closed door with the
Philistines.
° Separation from loved ones.
° Property destroyed by fire.
° Grief and powerlessness.



😡😡
And as if all that
wasn't enough,
everyone turned
against him,
leaving him alone
AND GOD!

😳
There are times
you feel like
giving up.

☹️
Giving up on
° your dreams
° your calling
° your pursuit.




👑
But like DAVID
YOU
ARE
GOING
TO
MAKE
IT!


Don't give up.
Don't stop.


🤴🏻
David became king
of Judah, and
then king of Israel.

He made it!
He died in a good
old age, full of days.




You will make it!

In Exodus 33.12
Moses had an
interesting concern.

He was a lonely leader.
Aaron his brother was
there, Joshua his servant
was there. Years earlier
Zipporah had been there.



🤝😔
But still something
was missing.




🗣💬
In a conversation
with God,
Moses expressed
this emptiness.

God is always there
to respond to our
sincere concerns.

The close friends
or family that we
may have are indeed
a great blessing!

But,
The Ultimate
Friend that
will be with you
everywhere,
anywhere,
every time,
all the time
IS THE LORD.

" We have no bread! "

In Mark 8.16
the disciples
were crossing
Lake Galilee,
after a mission
to Dalmanutha,
with Jesus.



🚤💦
Then, in the boat
Jesus made a comment
about what they had
encountered on the
mission.

❗️
It was literally a warning:
"beware of the
yeast of the Pharisees
and of the yeast of Herod".


🗣 👥 👥
The disciples misunderstood
His comment.


🤔
They thought
He was talking
about bread.


🙍🏻‍♂🤦🏻‍♂🙇🏻‍♂👤
They discussed it
among themselves
and said,
"It is because
we have no bread ".


🧐
What they didn't realize
is that they had
the Bread of Life
in the boat.

🍞
Plus, they also had
one loaf of bread
in the boat.


🙌🏼
And, they also had
the Bread-Multiplier
in the boat.
