In Exodus 18
Moses was visited
by Jethro, his father
in law.

One day Jethro
observed Moses'
routine.

Moses would sit
and give judgment
to the many Israelites
who came to him
with their cases.

Jethro noticed
how this trend
would wear Moses out.

🥱😐
And also delay
justice for the people.



👨🏻‍⚖👨🏽‍⚖👨🏼‍⚖👨🏻‍⚖👨🏾‍⚖
Therefore he advised
that more judges
be appointed
to ease the burden
on Moses.

⚙⚖
And to turn
the wheels of justice
faster.


💪🏼
This was immediately
implemented.


😵⚖
Only HARD CASES
were brought
to Moses.

In 1 Samuel 30
there was one
more episode
of trouble,
that David
had to go through
just before
becoming king.



😖💣
At that time,
things didn't look up.

° A closed door with the
Philistines.
° Separation from loved ones.
° Property destroyed by fire.
° Grief and powerlessness.



😡😡
And as if all that
wasn't enough,
everyone turned
against him,
leaving him alone
AND GOD!

There are times
you feel like
giving up.

☹️
Giving up on
° your dreams
° your calling
° your pursuit.




👑
But like DAVID
YOU
ARE
GOING
TO
MAKE
IT!


Don't give up.
Don't stop.


🤴🏻
David became king
of Judah, and
then king of Israel.

He made it!
He died in a good
old age, full of days.




You will make it!

Moses had an
interesting concern.

He was a lonely leader.
Aaron his brother was
there, Joshua his servant
was there. Years earlier
Zipporah had been there.



🤝😔
But still something
was missing.




🗣💬
In a conversation
with God,
Moses expressed
this emptiness.

God is always there
to respond to our
sincere concerns.

The close friends
or family that we
may have are indeed
a great blessing!

But,
The Ultimate
Friend that
will be with you
everywhere,
anywhere,
every time,
all the time
IS THE LORD.
