In Mark 1.40
A leper who was
sick of his condition,
came to Jesus.

🧎🏻
He fell on his knees,
face to the floor,
and begged
for relief and removal
of the disease
and it's depressing
distress.


🖐🏻
Jesus was moved
with compassion
and Healed him!



😃
Immediately his life
was restored.
Back to health

In Judges 17,18,19 & 20
we track the journey
of a Levite from Bethlehem.



🏃🏻‍♂🧑🏻‍🦱
As a young man,
he starts off as a runaway
renegade who lands
in Mount Ephraim.



👞 ↗️ 🏢
And then, by a series
of stained steps,
we see his
promotion:


🛣 🌆 🏟
From community level
to county level
and finally to where
he impacts the
whole country!


📖 🗯👣🚨
The Book of Judges
is full of wild stories of
waywardness, with
gory scenes of bloodshed.



🤔💭
Yet, we can pick out
profitable points
to ponder,
such as promotion.

⬆️
For PROMOTION
cometh neither from
the east, nor from
the west, nor from
the south.

But God is the Judge:
He puts down one,
and sets up another.

Psalm 75.6-7

In Exodus 18
Moses was visited
by Jethro, his father
in law.



📋 👀
One day Jethro
observed Moses'
routine.


👥👥👥

Moses would sit
and give judgment
to the many Israelites
who came to him
with their cases.



🥵💦
Jethro noticed
how this trend
would wear Moses out.

🥱😐
And also delay
justice for the people.



👨🏻‍⚖👨🏽‍⚖👨🏼‍⚖👨🏻‍⚖👨🏾‍⚖
Therefore he advised
that more judges
be appointed
to ease the burden
on Moses.

⚙⚖
And to turn
the wheels of justice
faster.


💪🏼
This was immediately
implemented.


😵⚖
Only HARD CASES
were brought
to Moses.
