Luke 18:1
Gives us an interesting
perspective on prayer.

Prayer changes things.
But prayer also changes people!

You would think that if God heard your request once,
then you don't have to repeat
it.

We get confused about
"The Prayer of Persisence"

Why should I tell God again
and again and again.
Didn't He hear me the first time?


Well, the prayer of persistence
is not for God's sake.
It's for your sake!

There is something very very
important that goes hand in hand with prayer.
And that is FAITH.

Without Faith, Prayer is empty,
devoid of power, ineffective.

Infact, a short prayer, prayed
in faith, is more effective than a long prayer that has no faith.

The thing about asking, is that
once your faith is 'complete',
that is, when you firmly believe,
concerning what you are asking,
then at that point you don't have to ask any more.

You simply Give Thanks
for the answer.

So, the prayer of persistence
is actually an exercise of faith.
To get you to the point of completely believing that the answer has been obtained.

That's why YOU have to pray,
until YOU BELIEVE completely.
Whether that takes one prayer,
or several prayers.
